Slow interface on multiplayer

Hi all,

 

I had a look at other posts and I cannot find any with this issue.

 

When I joining multiplayer everything becomes very slow at responding, e.g. if I click refresh for game listings I have to wait 1 min and no other buttons work.

Also when pressing cancel when joining a game it takes 2 mins before it actual cancels

 

Anyone any ideas?

Some of the servers are having issues, so functions that call on those servers will be slow. We're working to resolve the problem.

I'm seeing this now. While the custom game list is updating, everything freezes. It can freeze for extended periods. Try to pick a game and hit join, and in between it decides to auto update, and freezes again.

 

That'd be a good task to put in a background thread so it doesn't block the UI so severely.
