Hmm the avatar remaining highlighted could be an option to give to people. not sure that would be to hard. But i havent found it to big of a problem for me? but i suppose i could see how it would be.

I tend to think of Regulus and smaller Demis as having an advantage in being able to hide among the mobs.

ive never really had a prob with this, using the camera alot helps, though i do know what u mean, the camera does help the situation, sometimes just rotating so u are looking at map from opposite direction helps a ton. i also zoom in real close if need be too

Like Kitkun said. Rook is big, like, Big, it makes sense smaller things just get lost in it's shadow. Just played my first few games with Rook, and it was a powertrip. I didn't get as many kills as with Regulus or such, but just.. creeps get lost beneath Rook, they just die without Rook even noticing. I even accidentally killed a player with Hammer Slam, didn't even notice he was there (there were giants and such around).

I didn't really have any big problem with Rook's size though. If a player is hidden behind Rook when I target Hammer Slam, it will also hit.

Aside from Rook though, targetting smaller characters in a crowd is annoying. Especially having trouble targetting my own demigod is stupid, why can't I just target the big picture. Or even better, cast on self with a key modifier. It's not that bad if I can't target other demigods so easily, I imagine it might be hard to target somebody during battle in a crowd. But my own character?

If they'd implement an option to show constant healthbars over all demigods that can be hovered over with target priority over anything else that is infront of it, problem would be solved.

HaunterV, you're actually not always selected, if you've ever played a general its a very important part of macro that you're able to not have your hero selected.

I would like to see demigods better.  In a big fray, late game, things blend together and its very hard to discern friend from foe.  Demigods need to be larger but also either outlined in team colors or palleted to stand out better. This obviously wasn't considered when the game was being tested.

Being able to hold down a button to go into a view where all DGs are glowing would be great.  Think Diablo 2 item-view.

Oh, well for this tournament I'm just focussing on UB so my experience with Using a general is limited to Erebus for the duration of one SP tournament.... Next Epoch I'll try another DG and so on and so on... so 7-9 epochs from now I'll at least have some ability with each DG.

So how does thee game know when you want to target the rook instead of the people behind him?  This makes no sense.

Yeah, I can never find that darn Demis anywhere on the battlefield. But isn't that just the name of the game?

You should always be able to see everything in a little ring around your character. No matter if a building or Rook isstanding on top of you. How this should work...ask the engineers. I just play

What ZephyrTR said. I think there's a lot they didn't consider when they built the game tbh.

Well maybe if all the demigods' portraits appeared somewhere on screen (i'm thinking to the right side of the screen ) when they get in your line of sight. Like if you were farming grunts somewhere, there are no portraits, but as soon as a demigod came out of the fog of war and into your line of sight his portrait will appear on the right side (with red or green backgrounds, so you can tell the difference between an ally and enemy ). As more demigods come near you, the portraits will stack on themselves. When you want to target a specific demigod you can select your power and then click directly on their portraits.

This does not solve the "targeting the minion" problem, but I think it prevents demigods hiding behind rooks, citadels, in clusters of grunts etc.
