A few small things

Hi there, love the game, but i think a few small things would be nice.

1) a chase cam option, maybe clicking on the portrait would activate (it works well in DOW 2).
2) clicking on the mini map jumps your camera to that position, it's easier than mouse scrolling or zooming in or out.
3) the demigods appear as their color on the mini map, just so if you are wanting to jump that one hero.
4) sometimes it's very easy for you to miss whats going on with the ingame chat, maybe some kind of box for it that fades in and out.

These ideas are just my point of view though.

We always appreciate new ideas. There are some things we can do here at Stardock, but some things require a new build from GPG. I assure you though, we're always reading your suggestions.

1) Press "T". The camera centers on your demigod and follows your moves.

2) I agree. But for me i like to zoom out/in, seems quick and looks very cool...

3) I don't understand what you are referring to. But i have a similar problem: The demigods in your team have the same color (green) as your troops, and it's hard to see where are your team members are, if they stand in the middle of a friendly mob (lol). Either make the creeps other color on the map (like white), or the team demigods.

4) Not a problem for me, i just press Enter and see the log. I don't have to type anything, if i just want to see...

I have more suggestions and bug reports, but i'll make another thread.

Btw, do the people from GPG watch these forums? I thought that Stardock only made the netcode for it...

1) I should check the key bindings next time
2) Agreed, the mouse scroll adds to the grace of the game, a nice affect.
3) For example, in dota, you could change the colors on your mini map, but by default it's set to your player color, so if i am the yellow player i would appear yellow on the mini map.
4) some maps (like cataract/prison) the onscreen colors are sometimes bright, making the white text almost invisible...can you change the text color in game?

Oh, i see. I agree with this. It's easily fixable, they just have to make a semi transparent background (like light grey) for the chat window/area.

Also, the text that displays who died and who killed who, should be made red (if a team mate has died) or green (if an enemy dg died). As it is now, white is kinda neutral, many times i failed to notice it and wondered where my team mate was, lol.
