Hey guys,
I just got ObjectDock 1.9 and am loving it. I was looking into getting some custom backgrounds to further extend that capabilities of OD (without getting OD+). All the tutorials that pertain to the process by which you can do this seem to imply that the custom backgrounds are in .zip format. However, when I browse wincustomize.com for the backgrounds I see only .dockzip format files. Could anyone help me taking into account those files?
Thank you for any help rendered, Rijel
dockzip is a zip that dock understands
pretty much everything downloaded here comes in zip or a form of zip each program relates to
such as
.wba is a renamed .zip that Windowblinds knows what to do with
try double clicking the .dockzip
Thank you for the suggestion. However, I tried that and got the "windows cannot open this file message". Does anyone else know what to do?
Thanks
Windows cannot open it because only OD recognizes it. When it asks you what program you wish to open it with click browse. Then navigate to Objectdock.
I tried that and it worked. Thanks man. Now to go have some fun...
Edit: I had my fun and now have Casseopia as my background for OD. Thank you once more for the help.
