My early game item strategy as a tank Ooze UB: Banded armor, TP scroll, combat health potion. On my first trip back to the citadel, scalemail (so I can charge through towers for kills easier) and the tower health upgrade. From there, stack health.

Depends a bit on the map.  On cataract, with an early offensive DG lineup, I'll grab a flag lock to lock the middle flag.

Banded armor is pretty solid, though get Scale Mail if you go with Blood of the Fallen, especially on a large map.

Scaled helm is very favor item/dg dependant. It can be the little boost you need to keep the mana train going, especially for middle weight mana spenders, but honestly, you are better of saving for the Vlemish.

Yes, in general the low end stuff is always worth buying because of this.

My opening is either Banded Armor or Scale Mail + Combat Health Pot + Teleport Scroll.  Which armor I use depends on the Demigod as some really do need the armor that Scale Mail offers since their natural armor is extremely low.

As far as citadel upgrades, in my opinion, the only necessary ones in the early game are both tier 1 tower upgrades and the currency upgrade.

2 combat health potions + Cap lock (cata) + TP scroll

You outlast anyone in your lane and get an early goal advantage that pays for itself.

i spend the first 1000 coins for these items

torchbearer(fireball): 1x universal item (which can shoot for 650dmg)

                              1x health potion and a teleportscroll 1x special item to have +250mana -10%cast time amu

torchbearer(blizzard): 1x teleportscroll 1x health potion

                               2x flagblock 1x special item to run faster +15% speed amu

the fireball torchbearer i choose if i have to play very offensive (like killing other demigods to win or fast rushing through a couple of towers) the blizzard torchbearer i play if i have to cover an area or a hotspot where the action goes up for long a time (capturing and defending flags and portals or giving backup with the burst damage effect)

I usually take Banded Armor/Scalemail + Scaled Helm for most builds (and Totem of Revelation if I pick Scalemail), the armor depends on if my favor item is Blood of the Fallen or not.

Using boot of speed + Swift anklet = pushing out of the lane quickly...you dont have enough HP to last fights.

no1 buys hp pots? wtfux?

I don't always get boots of speed, but sometimes it works well and I make my gold back easily.
