Hello everybody,
me and my brothers have recently started playing Demigod, so far we've noticed that being on vent with even 1 ally will useally be enough to win the game due to being able to easily communicate about helping, OOM or retreats and most importantly easily convey knowledge about enemy demigods positions. The problem is that not alot of people are on a voice communication program, or are able to get on there, and even if all players have mics etc. they might not have the same voice com. program installed etc.
Now as i said we've only recently begon to play so forgive me if i missed something but AFAIK there's not real "community" apart from these forums/game replay forums wich are both well not really big. And there aren't alot of premade groups out there, we've done 10s of fights but we have yet to encounter any sort of pre-made group.
The idea:
We have a ventrilo server with 35 slots that's currently not being used (due to our darkfall clan merging with a bigger clan) but payed for till end of september, we're willing open up the server to the demigod community. I hope this will increase the amount of pre-mades around (since it's easyer to find other people off your level), increase the amount of clans (since they won't have to pay for an entirely new server) and just a fun place to hang out while waiting for player to join your game / waiting for another pre-made to be ready to fight.

There will be seperate channels for custom games and pantheon games so if multiple people in the same game are in the vent server they can join that channel for easy communication.
Rules:
here are some rules i thought up, these will change as I or we (the community) think of new / improved ones but these should be a decent base:
1. Be nice! Common courtesy prevails, let others finish their sentences, don't swear excessively so don't go on a ragefit when you get killed 
etc. and offcourse no racism!
2. Please use your ingame game here on ventrilo to ease up pairing. If you are in a Clan please also include your clan tag ([tag] username)
3. No spamming, if you're looking for a game/team mate/recruit put it in your comment.
4. If you host a custom game, tell me or send me a PM and I'll name one of the Custom game channels after it.
5. If you join a custom game that has a channel on this vent, please join your appropiate team's channel, repeated violations of this rule will result in a (temporary) ban.
6. If you join a Pantheon game, join either an empty pantheon channel (appropiate team offc. or if you recognise someone off your team that's already in a pantheon channel, join his.
these rules will be displayed everytime you enter the server through the MotD system.
Clans and pre-mades:
Clans / Pre-mades can contact me for a private channel (with subchannels if desired). Please send an E-mail to arnoaskamp@gmail.com or send me a PM on this forum with your clanname, clan tag (2-4 letters), amount of members, if you are recruiting or not, your desired channel lay-out (for example: 1 lobby 3 private rooms etc.) and offcourse your clan's desired password (a second password if you want a leader/officer channel).
If the idea takes off and 35 slots aren't enough and we'll have to upgrade or the contract runs off by september i'll open up a pay-pal donation thingy but for now that's not necessary. Also it might be cool if we could organise a inhouse tournament every now and then.
