She became overpowered when I started playing her lol (cow also plays a very similar qot to me). i like 4nana's queen for 1on1s and 2on2s. In 3on3s I find his tank build rather difficult to work with the team. The team has to work around the queen, but I don't see many people capable of doing that. I prefer my queen for 3on3s and up.

Synn - it just that some people whine and make excuses if they take a beating. Sometimes the excuses are viable (player on my team fed like 10 kills, for instance), but most of the time just whining. If the only viable counter someone can come up with for a QoT is ub, then I'd argue that the players is probably just not that great.

Now, if you are using the mod I made for you, she is the most op dg there is.

If it is similiar to life katana and orcun's queen build then chances are, I already know it lol . Don't get me wrong, I know my queens strengths (she's mine and no one else), but I find it funny she is quick to be called overpowered when they one yelling it originally wanted to use ub.

Hey bud. I played a couple of games against you the other night. One 3v3 and the other a 1v1. I don't think Queen is OP I just think the whole UB thing is a weird request right off the bat in games. Why not title your games as such? I know your record is very bad and you are better than it states but I just found it funny to ask my 30%er to change from being UB and when my 30% changed from UB to DA with a REG already on the team I found it even funnier. So I decided to change to TB to be the unbeatable trio of DA REG TB. heh. I don't think anyone saw the humor but me. But if you think its bad to hear the stuff about not being able to play UB on the opposing team just think what the teammates have to hear the whole game from the guy that wasnt allowed to play UB. "Man, if only I had UB." "What's with the UB thing?" "NO UB? LOL." Funny enough you have to know that if he's complaining about not being able to be UB against your Queen at all then you know he's a noob.

My take on it is to an extent there isnt OP DEMI's just OP combos, superior players, and mismatched match ups. Every Demi has their strengths and weaknesses depending on 1v1 2v2 3v3. As for Queen I think she is greatly underestimated because not many people play her and the only time she does make an appearance is with a skilled player. Other than that I think she's a PITA to play against just like SED because A) they should never die and b ) they are always running around saving everybody. But I did kill you with my DA 1v1 so I'm going to claim victory for the DA. J/K I did lose that game but was satisfied with the kill.

I dunno about now-a-days, but when I was playing UB was in EVERY game. My games were no-UB for variety sake.

hey I remember you, naa the no ub thing was something I did for a while now,I use to just post no holy trinity in my title (le/oak/ub on one team).

There are VERY few builds that have walked all over my qot.. bots beast because I can't run him oom (although if I can gain a SLIGHT advantage through levels or gear I've beaten) and certain combinations of demigods that I can't tank through (minion / pent oak + beast is one example).

If you watched the replay.. I sent an infinite mana tb back to base 2x while I stayed out... I held multiple flags against an oak all game.. I could easily tank through an assassin oak and hybrid tb beating on me.. etc. That's not an isolated case by any means.

Also, I really don't think you know queens strengths as you don't utilize mulch last I recall, and you think Goddess of Thorns is worthless.

hm it depends on how you play the queen.I don't see mulch as necessary for my build until late late game for my play style. For your tank queen it works.

I would say mulch isn't necessary for queen in the same way spit isn't necessary for ub. Yes, ooze build can be very effective in certain circumstances, but that doesn't mean spit isn't ridiculously good. Although, different from ooze beast, qot simply cannot compete late game w/out mulch while ooze beast can compete late game w/out spit.

No my first post did not depict anyone's build walking over anyone's QoT, as you felt you needed to state for no reason in particular. You trying to tell me what I do and don't do with my queen, when you have only played with me once in a little while. Within the time frame I not playing queen, nor taking the game as nothing more then a care free game. Which also was not in my first post, my first post was about the player and their mentality to change, and not change that one could be viewed as a cheap trick in a hosts game. I know we had this enough, but ooze beast is just straight retarded. I think cow is the only one who will ever try it in the tournament. I find it hard to compare spit (damage) with mulch ( heal ). I'll rather compare it with sedna's heal. if you hp stack her a lot you do not necessarily need the heals in the beginning of the game. However, since sedna can heal anybody it is of much more advantage and use than queen's mulch that can only heal herself. Basically you can force kills out with heal (healing ub chasing nuts) not with mulch though really until very very late game, when queen has 5-6k hp when people overextend trying to kill you.

You've mentioned in previous threads your style or build and you've commented that goddess of thorns is "also a ability not really worth it," so I didn't make any assumptions of my own about it. Rather, I merely relied on what you've said. I had assumed you didn't watch the replay because after my comment you said "if [your] build is similar to katana's / orcun's I already know it" which strongly implies that you didn't see my style of qot as shown in the replay. In your OP you said that qot was weak and was deemed not viable because you were kicked from lobbies because of selecting her. I simply explained why she was viewed as overpowered now (by stating very few have walked over me personally when I play qot was part of that explanation). There is no need to get uppity.

Also, Zen.. people overextend trying to kill QoT all the time, not just late game. You can get 5-6k hp as qot w/ 2 helms by lvl 10, and that's not late game. Ooze is not retarded in certain matchups (i.e. erebus / oak / sedna as the other team). It's not straight retarded to do pure ooze, it can still be effective regardless. Retarded is doing pure stats and inner beast. There is a large difference between "not optimal" and "retarded." I'm just saying no mulch is "not optimal"

One we aren't in previous threads, we are in this thread. We aren't talking about how I play qot which isn't even relevant to the topic.

Two, I have changed how I play plenty of times, both before and after I make posts, you may remain stasis with the way you play doesn't mean we all do. I may say a favor one favor item with a demigod and two weeks later start using a completely different , Which is one reason I stopped posting in the strategy, because I don't stick to one way of doing things. I don't doubt everyone who plays with me has seen me do something I normally don't do more then once on multiple occasions. One game, I am playing queen with minions, the next I may not. Another game I may go fire TB, and afterward I may go ice.

Three, What made you not think that was posted before I watched it, or just to mess with you? You do understand that I was speaking in past tense, meaning happened in the past right? In my op, I stated flaws she has, I never said in no format that I said she was weak. The demigod I chose as my main of all others.

Blackmage, I just want to to say..LMFAO. I play ub more then any other dg, and the only reason some people think ub is op, is because he is over used and people have come up with the best possible builds. All that it comes down to now is knowledge and specific skills that most lack. ANYWAYS

I remember coming to your lobby one time, and you told me i could not play as ub, so i picked occ. I held mana lane solo for the entire game, got through all the side towers within 10 minutes, got about 5 kills and you guys concede about 5 minutes after that. If you want to talk about OP, go to another game. There are NO OP demigods as brasher said above, only OP combos. I don't know why you wouldnt want a ub anyways... Most of the builds i see for him are spit and run now. Since the high tower "default" kicked in, no one wants to be a ooze ub because theyre too damn scared to take a little damage, and its harder to get kills because you may have to walk into the towers more. If you had a good qot build, there would be few UB's that would kill you. Your sheild and mulch negates almost all of ub's damage, or atleast enough for you to get to base safely.

If nana is right about you not using mulch.. then I wish i could show you a replay from last night. I was facing nomilarac, altershiscm, and a decent ub. And i was Ub with two others mids playing ere and oak. REGARDLESS of our tier 1 combo. I was facing off with nomilaracs qot on mana for the majority of the game, and it only took me untill level 6 or 7 to start pushing him off flags solo. this was because he failed to get mulch at a crucial time when my ooze was getting powerful. I killed him more then 5 times this game for 1 reason. NO MULCH. I had more speed then him, so i could keep my meelee on him at all times, my ooze countered his sheild, and my 2 spits WOULD HAVE been countered by his mulching. If you would like me to prove to you that mulch is qot's most essential skill, then i would love a 1v1 on an open map like prison, where I'm UB and your qot. You can do your no mulch build, and I'll do my no pussy build. Then we'll post the replay on here for all to see. What do ya say buddy?

and Zen... go crunch the numbers on ooze/spit vs spit and run. Compare damagegiven/taken for both builds, agaisnt a common oppenent like erebus. Don't forget to apply mana cost which can lead to no grasp, and loss of melee when chasing. Also, say your chasing an oppenent, who sigiled and was running away, your spit is at 1500 now, and your oppenent has 1300hp left. So since youve been spitting to bring his hp down this low, you have 900 mana left, and spit one more time. Now your oppenent is far enough away, (and you have no mana for grasp) to quickly tp to crystal and live. Where if you spit to begin with, then oozed, then chased, and grasped when he tried to tp, then spit again, he would be dead. I know all situations dont happen like this, but it's quite common with a few differences in different games. Non Ooze builds are for PUUSSAAAYYSSS plain and simple.
