i actually do like the new theme music better. the original was just 'meh' to me. but i never got that into the original series (i'm only 26, so it was a little before my time).

okay, as to part II...

Boomer one of the 8s (the Asian model cylon). the other named 8 is Athena (Sharon Agathon, but she's married to Helo - i think Boomer was Sharon Valarie, but i'm not sure if they were both Valarie or what).

the other 4 in the fleet are Tigh (the X.O..), Chief Tyril, Sam Anders, who yes has been Starbuck's husband for about 1.5 seasons now, and the president's chief of staff Torie.

Leoban is one of the original skin jobs. he's blond and kind of scruffy, a profit/seer type.

The new music is way better..but for the time period..the original had it's charms.

Digressing....i love the episode where the Brother Cylon is found out as a toaster. One copy is in the brig on Galactica and another copy is brought in atesting his innocence...he then sees the other copy of himself and just gives it up with a shrug of the shoulders and a  "oh...yeah..ok"
