...why do you post all of this info (along with other things) in every empire's thread except your own? I would think you'd want to do whatever possible to try and bring some activity to your own thread.

I just find this to be both odd, as well as slightly amusing.

Honor is given where honor is due, Count Alejandro.  The Kzinti respect all who fight bravely and with valor!  We appreciate your effort to honor the memories of your foes, although it is puzzling why you would waste perfectly edible meat by incinerating it and keeping the ashes in a jar.  After our Conquest Heroes devour your flesh, and the Fanged God likewise devours your soul, you will be remembered as a great enemy who knows the strength and value of honor.

I think that 99% of the people on these forums don't support it. I suport the use of smilies but not too much because I think that the overuse of the smilies by some of the new members has bothered Piz. I (and possibly alot of people) cannot stand I-Mod Stefan becuase of his overuse of the smilie.

I was experimenting with a modified rush mumbler, but I never got the econ event in that game.  Without the econ event and under these game conditions, I couldn't make it to 10k ships before my economy tanked completely.  I'll try again and hope I get an econ event. 

If all things go well, the theory is that a 1.5 million point mumbler should be possible.  I'll start a discussion in the private forums so others can try it out.

Don't get me wrong.  I'm not dissing the game.  It was a personal best after all.  I'm very certain that it could have gone higher, but I'm pretty happy with it as it stood. 

I'm interested in what others might think of the underlying strat.  I'd bet a nickle that clanlindsey could beat my score in two weeks or less.  Any takers?    

Can I specify which nickle?  There are bound to be some quite expensive 5c peices out there.

But of course.     You can specify any nickle you wish to bet and I'll specify the one I'll put up against it.

(Disclosure: by number 2, I mean that his Evil Twin character is now ranked as the second highest scoring MV player, not that Mottikhan is a pile of poop free-floating across space and time)

Yet now that the ToE have tasted the coveted top three rankings, however briefly, we shall not be satisfied with your leavings any longer. We have tasted your success......and it tastes like prey species to me! Gird yourself for our combined assault!

BTW, I have found prey species taste even better with a nice garlic-caper-cream sauce with a glass of Riesling on the side. What do the Kzinti serve prey species with? Something barbaric or something delightfully sublime? I'm thinking of starting a sideline in prey species cookbooks so your input, just between us respectful adversaries, is solicited.

CL, there was a time when all top 3 positions were held by the ToE as well...

We allow Kp to hold those spots for us till such times as we want them back.
