I'd vote for the 12pt for your font.  Also size down you're signature, that thing really takes up some room.

imdeed, +1 on both counts. 12 point is closest to the normal size on these forums, and the signature is quite a chunk of real estate at that font size. have you considered making a banner?

Behold, using my special strategy, I have managed to get 186,900, the highest score ever gotten using TA.

Yeah, I thought I had gotten the highest MV score using TA but then I checked several other MV characters, I was wrong.

Had to laugh at that one Seth. I know Mag broke 1M some months ago on TA.

i hit 200k a few weeks ago on a game i was "taking easy". i'm hoping the one i have in the works will break 500k, but it's a maso so we'll see. i'm definately stepping up to suicidal next game.

I don't know how my ToE brothers feel about helping out Geckodons, you do after all compete for the same prey species, just as the Kzinti, but in TA my advice is speed, speed, speed in the colony rush. I don't mean ship speed either, I mean grab planets as fast as possible and grab resources even faster. If your economy doesn't melt down repeatedly then you aren't doing it right. Most of us tend to play cautiously when learning a game, but I like GalCiv TA because it adheres to the dictum of war, "get there the fastest with the mostest". Over the last two months I've gone from initially scoring 35,000 to doing quite a bit better mainly by paying attention to Mumblefratz. He has some excellent advice on these forums. I don't do his starbase array, but read what he has to say about how the score is calculated and then think how you might modify your game play to really rack up the points.

Quite ok actually. DA, Motti and myself all have characters in the Gecko's trying to keep young Seth going.

i hate to add to your burden, but i must decline your offer.  with two slots engaged, i have only one left.  any general worth his salt, will keep forces in reserve until the decisive blow.  my troops are committed.
