I don't know if any of you guys are a fan of the mini's genera. Did anyone here ever play games workshops short lived Battlefleet Gothic.

That game was pretty fun.

Some of the stuff I liked from there.

1. Massive torpedoes

Were talking about ship killers that you had to move the ship out of the way from and could use to move other guys ships out of areas that you wanted to go into.

2. Boarding action

You could fire "boarding torpedoes" and basically take over a ship or failing at that sabotage large sections of it.

3. Ramming / Fire Ships

Some ships could ram it was pretty sweet some could also function like a big torpedo.... that was awesome.

4. The ships had sections you could knock out an engine ... that was pretty cool.

5. Ships could really blow up

As in they would implode and take down anyone who happened to be near them that was pretty awesome.

6. Some ships as i recall could use gravitic and solar wind effects

Ooo yay I got Blood Angels: Red Fury (squel to the Omnibus) today! :D

 

So turns out that a Blood Angel Heavy Weapons Guy has a blue helmet (I think that would look cool!)

i always theought that coffee smells better than it tastes, it smell great, but it tastes like muddy water, no matter how you dress it up, it's still shit (Austin Powers scene)

Wow people, calm down. Have no fear, I have called in a crane crew and alot of emergancy workers- WE WILL GET THIS TRAIN BACK ON TRACK! No figures on casualties of the train accident yet, but it seems the cause of the derailment was due to tea, soda and coffee.............................................. :annoyed:

 

 

 

 

 

PS: Coffee tastes different in different countries (Believe me, Ive tried) and the coffee down here (australia!) is great! Just add millk and two sugars, and its the best tasting drink ever!

hey i dont drink coffee but i recon it smells alright... and ausie coffe smells prety damn good personaly i preffer milo. i cant drink 'soda' because i have braces so i cant even join that band wagon

in better news my new pc should be around soon (its beastie quad core gtx260 4 gig ram tasty) so i'll definatley be able to get back in the game but before that i'm gona try emiterating some frigates... hopefuly

And speaking of train wrecks, in that Blood Angels book they stumble upon a huge wreck of trains and cars and stuff on an planet were a rebellion had happened. Turns out the highway's machine spirit died :thumbsup:

Speaking of which, an Ark Mechanicus (go to the BFG website and look at the Adeptus Mechanicus rules for more info) would be a good superweapon for the Imperials. Plus, the Machine Cult could be a faction unto themselves, what with the l33t models and free lance batteries and all.

If everyones going on about their fleets...:

I have 2000 points of Chaos, Space Marines and Imperial Navy. I love BFG so much its not funny lol, but I dont play 40K. BFG is my only tabletop game. I just love naval conflict! Just to be annoying, ill post a picture of some of my Chaos ships, because I like them so much Lol! :grin:

Three of my four cruisers...(only 80% done, need metals and lights and bloodstains done)

2 x Slaughter: The Rape Of Virtue, Blinded in Chains

1 x Hades: The Sacraligious Scorn

1 Carnage: Bat Country (not pictured)

Five of my seven Infidel Raiders....... (also only 80% done, need metalics and lights and BLOOOD!)

 

And @Keilworth: I dont know the last time you checked in, but if it was before a few weeks ago, then you missed the release of the first 'test' version. We've all been playing it and testing it, its great so far, even if it could use a few fixes...  Chaos is the only one done, and even then, there is no battleships or iconoclasts or buildings.

 

Also, if you havnt guessed, my ships are named after metal songs i listen too, some of the bands being Avenged Sevenfold (My favorite in the whole world }:) ), The Used (more emo....), Dimmu Borgir (wow....thats heavy...)
