You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

I think i have used less pairs of socks than Everflyer has names and avatars. Here's a wacky thought....

Pick a name and avatar and stick with it! Changing once or twice over the course of a year or two is one thing, but how the hell are we to keep up...I didn't even realize who firenight was at first......

Lol, some is my work. The metal arm, cyborg eye and blood red eye brows and hair. I placed the background in and recoloured the Nova so it had red on it. I like drawing :D.

That's nothing, i'm just getting warmed up (Picks up geckodon remains and throws them in his mouth, eats it). Chief! fetch me some more ingrediants and the next selection of prey.

Hehe... :) Firenight is certainly one of the most creative and colorful people on the forums, and I'm glad to have him in the Empire. He can change his avatar every day if the mood takes him... :D

This week should be really quiet for me game-wise. Due to my run of 100 games since I got onto the MV, I've been neglecting some chores around the house.

I also wanted to do some pet-project work in galciv, so that'll also slow things down.

This week should be really quiet for me game-wise. Due to my run of 100 games since I got onto the MV, I've been neglecting some chores around the house.I also wanted to do some pet-project work in galciv, so that'll also slow things down.

I'm sure you may find some time to do a ZYW here or there, hehe. ;) What this GC2 project you mentioned? I took off Thu & Fri, so I've got a 4-day weekend coming. I should get in a good amount of playing time. I'll finish my current Swindle game, and maybe do two more? :D

What this GC2 project you mentioned?


Eh, there was a question in the victory condition multiplier thread on if things have changed in TA and where EXACTLY an ascension victory stands in relation to a conquest victory. I'll piddle around to see how things are right now. As I said though, that'll be a slow process now with reduced gameplay.

Same goes for when 2.0 gets released. All depending on what they do to the espionage system, I may have some number crunching to keep me busy.

Perhaps I'll also find out if the "2 birds with one stone" Terror Star conquest victory yields any more points...just because I'm maso like that LOL

That was an funny way to win/lose. How long did that take exactly, and what sort of map size & setup were you using?


That AAR I played didn't have the 2-birds-1-stone win to it...unless you counted me as the other bird lol.

I did play a game after I saw the patch note though for the new victory screen to accomplish that screen. I had to puppeteer it in giving the two other races planets in the same system then finishing them off otherwise so my TS would win the game. That was months upon months ago though.
