Why No PayPal for Pre-Orders? Reasons?

Just wondering why I can't use PayPal to pre-order the game?  What are the reasons behind it?

Because paypal won't let companys accept money without giving a product.

I think it is because Paypal doesn't support delayed payment: when you preorder with a credit card, it is charged when they are giving you your serial id and not when you are doing the preorder. But that is impossible with paypal.

As has been said several times before, if there are still beta spaces available after the 5th, they'll open it up to paypal preorders for a week or so.

yep thats correct. i experienced the same with the iphone before the release. anyway i just got my golden Mastercard today :) so not a problem for me anymore but a credit card is very unusual here in germany

I got my preorder using a pre-paid card. Worked like a charm.
