Regulus "snipes" buildings

I found it odd that Regulus could use his snipe ability on enemy structures. At the very least, it seems to go against the flavor of the ability.

You can use a long range shot at anything.  Snipe is just a extra long, extra strong attack.  I think hitting buildings is ok.  Sniper in TF2 can be very good at taking out buildings.  The ability is not called "Headshot".  Just my thoughts.

All abilities effect buildies, so I doubt his would be any different. I'd like to see if you can lay mines on buildings and do dmg.

Perhaps the snipe ability could have an advancement which allows it to do extra DMG to buildings?

I see no problem with that, sicne every spell can deal damage to buildings.

Um yeah I don't see the issue.

It'll be confusing if some things work against structures and some don't.

I dont have problems with spells hitting buildings. The only issue i have is that regulus can shoot towers without them being able to shoot back, when he gets his range upgrade. Increase tower range?

He also does extremely low damage to them until later on. -_-  It's not an issue.

If he's shooting out at a tower of yours outside its range then kill him instead of acting like it's the games fault!  Take matters into your own hands!

It's part of his schtick. He's supposed to be able to outrange towers, but he does so little damage to them that you can see him and counter it before he does much damage. The rook's considerably better against towers if he can get a few seconds of free time.
