{Stability} I give the Demigod team a big pat on the back!!!

For an engine test beta release on my system this thing is rock solid I had 1 fatal error which in my mind for stress testing the engine is no big deal. I think this is a great beta release of a test engine.  I could care less about all the whiners about balance and in game bugs.  I will worry about that when they issue the beta regarding those issues. For now I am a happy Demigod beta player and enjoying the game.

Great work Guys

It's been stable for me except loading during alt tab(understandable, many games do this.) and it's incompatable with my webcam drivers/softwhere(i guessed it woudl be.. so is the latest FA patch..)

If you run the game at the same resolution and refresh rate as your desktop, you should drastically cut down on alt-tab lag.

i mean hwo the game fatals if you load a map while the game is minimized.

I don't care if you want to pat the devs on the back ... but was it really necessary to taint your point by p***ing on other beta-testers & forum-users who spent hours searching for in-game bugs and evaluating play-balance issues, and who then took the time & trouble to come here and post their findings ?

I believe that experienced & mature devs are more interested in reading about balance issues & in-game bugs than receiving a "big" verbal pat on the back.

But I agree with your diagnostic : the beta-1 programme has not once crashed on my PC, and the gameplay is fine, fast & fluid -- a great feat for an « engine stress-test » in the phase 1 of a beta. I've played released, "finished" games which were much more instable than this beta.

Do you allow me to add my own pat ? ^_^

Err Sorceress this build isn't about balance.

Broken game mechanics is one thing, like how you can keep stacking stuns and permastunning people, or with how you can perma-lock flags.(note the only flag on the 3v3 map isn't just the one in the center..)

But saying such and such is too weak is silly as they might be too strong in 2 months when other things are added!

That said, amybe it's not best to call the people complaining about balance whiners..  But i do think it's silly to complain about balance at this stage.

1. I agree.

2. I agree ... except for your use of the word "silly". I would have said, rather, "premature". O:)

Yup besides for the FPS display being stuck at 30 FPS, this game has been running extremely smooth for a tech beta considering my rig is far from top of the line.

Mobo is a Maximus Formula (integrated SoundMAX audio), RAM is OCZ DDR2 800, CPU is Q6600, GPU is 8800GTS 640mb, HDD is Seagate 32MB cache 500gb sata. All drivers are latest but not beta.
