Hi, Installed demigod first time and it was so slow it was unplayable. Exited program and tried again following day and it would not even start up. Uninstalled/re-installed the program and still cannot get it to play. It sits there laughing at me. Other games play quite sucessfully on this PC. Any ideas
Thanks. Downloaded the program, let it fix the 800 odd errors (!) re-booted, but still no joy. I press the "run" button from the Impulse screen and nothing happens
You still didn't copy the DxDiag text to this thread.... (Start>Run enter "DXDiag", save the information to a file and copy it to this form...)
What program fixed what odd errors ?!
The Impulse downloaded, Demigod-beta program does not include error-fixing code -- as far as I know.
If you wish to obtain technical assistance, you must take the time & trouble to compose posts which contain more precise & detailed info.
And, especially, you must do what the other users have been telling you to do, on this thread :
Copy, here, within a new post, the complete (very long) DX Diagnostic info associated with your computer.
Click Window's Start >> go to "Run" >> Type dxdiag & click OK >> let it run to completion >> save the info to a text-file >> leave the DX diag program >> open the file where you saved it >> select all of its content >> right-click the content + select copy >> and then paste all of that here, in a new post.
i have the same problem here.
I played one time the game, then i reboot and now i cant run the game. Launcher don't works.

Sorry - showing my ineptitude again! not knowing what dxdiag was I googled it and it came back with a regfix program - I downloaded and ran and it found many errors which supposedly are fixed.

What you need is a new video card that can handle directx10. I had the same problem as you and I got a nvidia 8800 and now the game runs perfect on highest settings.
i have a direct x 10.0 compatible graphics card. its a nvidia 8800 gts. it works awesome. what is the problem otherwise?
I don't know what yours is but I think what I posted was another guys issue
Nick you should probably also upgrade your BIOS your is an older version, when I got my new graphics card I had screen corruption and it took my uncle like 8 hours to figure out it was just simply my BIOS version.
