Interface Highlighting
I suggest two button controls that activate only for the duration either is pressed.
For the sake of argument:
'Q' = Hold down to enable the clicking upon of only enemy assets
'W' = Hold down to enable the clicking upon of only friendly assets
The default is of course being able to click upon anything as it is now.
Particularly with fast moving targets amongst masses of entities, it can be difficult to target a subject of action. This would be a way to help managably curtail such difficulties. The only drawback might be to beta test the button usage to make sure it co-exists happily and uneventfully with any other player input.
P.S.: Supplemental: I would very much like to see my Demigod ability buttons revert to Beta 1`s QWER position... this sounds trivial, but perhaps because of my ASDW fps gaming experience it seems quite unnatural and unfriendly to reach for a number key to utilize a special ability. At best in an fps I might reach for a number key to switch a weapon if the mouse wheel select doesn`t suffice (which it usually does...), but my primary activity buttons are always more comfortably located further down the keyboard.
