I think this has been a pretty big problem through out the Beta. There are times in the game where movement debuffs are just too much, and you just cannot escape from an enemy after 1 hit (e.g. UB - He will slow you down after his first hit meaning you have no chance to escape) or you end up having 3 different moves slowing you down.
Now I think movement debuffs are great and 100x better than stuns, and they should definately be kept in the game, but perhaps an item giving you X amount of seconds of invicibilty towards movement speed debuffs would really help and actually give players the chance to avoid being slowed down so much - at a cost.
I was also thinking an item that removes all debuffs on you, but if a UB is up close to you then you will get hit with a movement debuff a second later.
Now this item shouldnt be very cheap (like totems) and easily accessible as some characters and builds probably rely on movement speed debuffs, and if they were so easy to counter they would be pointless to use, but something to counter them would add some more depth to the game.
Note: I am going to see if wand of speed can successfully counter the debuffs - if anyone has tried doing this can you post this results (e.g It worked well or movement debuffs were too overwhelming).
Thoughts?
