Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it?

Banned because that's some sort of atemporal red herring from an interest group who are at least as scary as the outer limits of Paul's policy preferences. More scary, maybe. No engagement vs. engagement aimed at enabling the end of time? Tough call.

It doesn't matter that Mr. Paul said he “wouldn’t have risked American lives to end the Holocaust.” The nation didn't risk our citizens' lives to end the Holocaust. Ending the Holocaust was a 'collateral benefit' or whatever you call an unintended positive outcome of warfare. We would have done nothing about that mass murder spree if the attack on Pearl Harbor hadn't caused a sudden, complete collapse of our isolationist tradition.

Banned because Ron Paul remains what he always was- an impossibly pure and fringe-centered political figure who is dead right exactly 50% of the time and dead wrong the other 50%.

I was thinking something along the same lines. The holocaust did come to the attention of America and we did make it an objective, but not until well after being in the war. So it was inevitable. Him saying that he doesn't support Israel could be taken as a more negative comment. Then again, as it has been pointed out, he is an extreme isolationist. We wouldn't have military bases outside of the U.S. if he had his say, which as President he actually wouldn't. So meh.
