Beta-tester has recieved their downloads for full version, when does preorders (non-beta) get their?

i also find that there is a lot of whining over this; while it is just a matter of hours before everyone can play the game. It is not like Gamestop had released the game one month before the official release.

Why is it a disgrace, you were never promised early release for a preorder, why is everyone so impatient?

Maybe they haven't sent out the cd keys yet just that the beta testers don't have to register the key yet?

Pre-ordering from online download services will NEVER get you the game faster. You can always find it at the stores or on some torrent side before the pre-orders go through.

Game will be out tommorow on Impulse just like it says on the front page.

You need to update, they are releasing the game earlier due to gamestop and some other retailers released too early.

No, it will be out in the afternoon EST today. It *would* have been tomorrow, but since retailers broke the street date, it's going out today.

apparently if you re register the beta your full version will start to download.. only for people who were in beta, rest of us pre orders need to wait another few hours for THE email of the day.

It's not cracked, because there is no copy protection to crack.

What i ment is that people going into nerd rage mode, becouse they cant get the game right now needs to chill.

If they for a second thought that in "download" vs "retail", "download" would be the faster option for getting a game, then they need to update tbh.

I have pre-ordered alot of games from GamersGate, Stardock, Steam etc. etc. and always have the game been out in retail before the game actualy releases on the download service.

You still don't get it do you? The only reason retailers were out first is that they broke the agreement to release by schedule. The reason buying retail on the site is download in ADDITION to the box is so that you can download it immediatly at release, then wait for the box to come later.

In a perfect world! there is no piracy and no mistakes made by game stores. Now lets turn to the real world wich is far from perfect. In this real world alot of shit goes wrong. So.... to prove my point? who is playing this game right now? the Pre-orders or the pirates/retail buyers.

(Im aware beta players can download it now since they already got a SN-Key)

So you see. Pre-Orders dont get to play first. Well maybe it happens in 1% of all game releases. But mostly they get to play last tbh. This was the case for SINS, it was available in my local store before download release. Im not blameing stardock since this happens with alot of games. People just have to accept that if they want the game early they shouldnt count on pre-orders from online download services.

Kryo announced that pre orders are being sent the cd key validation emails shortly, they are getting sent sequentially, first come first serve, so the farther back you pre ordered.... the quicker you will be getting dealt with today..

SOME of the retail buyers, it depends on where they bought it. The rest is still waiting for it to arrive AFTER pre-orders, as it is supposed to be.

What pirates? 

My cursory search of popular torrents yielded no hits for Demigod at all.  So we have a few people who bought the game early, that's all.  Most of you who haven't gotten in will be playing tonight, tomorrow by the latest.  I will never understand why people take a game so seriously they are about ready to /wrist over it.

1. People pre-order.
2. Some store release game to early or you can go get it at some torrent site.
3. People who pre-ordered freak out and head into nerd rage mode becouse people get it before they do.

Morale is that you shouldnt pre-order and expect you will get it first.
