Queen of Thorns Issue?

(Bug, Glitch, or Just Unbalanced?)

I'm a bit confused about this Demi...it controls minions, shields (paladin bubble anyone), and heals?   Tell me this just isn't too much.   But, that's not the issue that I'm having.

The problem that I've come across is that I see this Queen of Thorns who's losing a fight (big time) and so she retreats into the fog of war (or whatever that crazy mist is called).  No more than 2-5 sec later does she come charging back out of it with that bubble shield on and full 100% health.   This rinse-and-repeat methode occured atleast 12x in a single game, every time she'd reappear after a very short time (no longer than 10sec) with 100% full health and a bubble covering her.   The only thing that was even close to the location that was their property was a fortress.  No, there was no teleportation scroll (it doesn't go that fast, and the base was so far away there would be no way for her to return that fast), and I highly doubt potions were involved (especially with potions limited to stacks of three).

So...um, the questions I have are:   Does the bubbly shield heal the person it's around and/or heal the Queen of Thorns?  When absorbing minions to heal (that's a tree I seen on them), how much does that heal if it's a full amount?

As much as I like this game (oh god do I love it), that is one very annoying Demi that's just ruining it for me.  I mean, they charge in doing AOE spam without any minions summoned, and they're a General type Demi...(insert "WTF?!" sentiments here).

She can mulch a shambler for 2250 once the skill is maxed at level 15, and at level 10 she can summon four shamblers at once, while mulching them each for 1500 (7 sec cooldown). Assuming she had the mana to do so, she could rinse and repeat this for quite awhile, so bursting her to death right away is very important.

I really wouldn't call this an issue though, tricky to get around, but it's doable.

Heh, you were against me.

I was using the Heart orb thingy...it regens your health an mana so long as you are not in combat.

For that build i was playing i have to sacrifice using minions, no shamblers.

its a little OP, but those items are available to you as well.  your were either rook or reg (i think reg), and could have overcome it with the boulder or reg's kite.

QoT is very tough to kill if you play her right, but she's also probably the weakest Demigod in terms of killing opponents.  She has very low weapon damage and even her offensive abilities lend themselves more to helping others kill (-armor and snare) than actually killing opponents herself.

With Bramble shield she's a great supporter, and with Mulch and Shamblers she can keep herself alive even longer, but you could hardly ever call her a "WTF" Demigod.  In fact, at the moment I'd say she's closest to what you might call "UP" in some ways of any Demigod as far as I've seen.

Agreed 100% she can wreck buildings but she's probably the worst demi-god killer. Most of here moves are aoe's so she pretty good at creep killing too, but man past level 5 it seems her damage just drops and she becomes more of light / dark giant in terms of danger.

I agree as well, she's not a very good demigod killer. She's much better at creeping and supporting others with bramble and her debuffs.

Was it me? I do this all the time, and I primarily play as QoT. I use speed boost items, "Bramble Shield", and "Heart of Life" to stay out on the field so that I can keep pushing.

She's a terrible Demigod killer, but with a [human] teammate she will always get the most assists. :P

It isn't. :P She only heals herself at the expense of her minions, and she can only shield one person at a time.

Yeah.. I'm not sure if using bramble shield to 7 sec recharge was a good idea.  If she has enough mana, it's really.. really.. hard to kill her.

It was fine at 15 seconds.  She was one of the best Demigods..  12 recharge and 45 second duration might be a better idea, but I'd have to play moreto really tell.

Yeah, but it's hard enough to kill enemies with her too. Just burst the shield down, most heroes can do this. Even Oak, with proper gear, can do damage fast enough to burn it down. If the QoT is wasting energy on shields then she isn't putting much (if any) into her offensive abilities. It's easy to break the shield, but if she is played right she will escape and come back fairly soon.

I've come to the realization that this is how she is supposed to be. She is an annoying pain with good defensive power, but a little weak on the stopping power (vs Demigods). She gets a lot of assist kills though. :P
