To all the neigh sayers!

Watch this game.

Alright sorry about this Mcshane but it needs to be known and I do owe you a rematch.

Everyone has given me so much shit about Ooze Beast being inferior to Spit Beast. Well McShane and Zen_God asked for my Ooze beast in the lobby and I obliged. I actually had a teammate I knew could hold his own in this match Rawrrr didn't let me down so I switched from rook to beast and the game started. What resulted was an intense game one of best I have ever played in. To say the least Ooze beast did not let me down.

and like I have always said, I will continue to play ooze beast until I think there is a superior build to it.

Here is the replay:

no one cares.

Also, don't post replays with smurf accounts. It's a jackass thing to do.

UB & Oak > Ub & Erebus, I think that's been established for a while.

I don't care about my smurf being known.. I only log on that guy when I get invalid username..

Also, I asked for your ooze beast as well :)

I wanted to add that as well but I figured triple posting might be a bit much.

Erebus cannot stand against oak late game, so i could not fight for portals and was always on the run.

Mirror match and then we can see how good that "ooze" beast is :)

It seems more and more apparent with the stuttering of almost every game oak is superior to erebus because he needs less microing and his sheild is instant where as with the lag its hard to time a stun right to save someone.  Yep oak saved you 3 times where u would of died and given the game to spit UB.  I can see where oooze UB works better in a laggy game which is when im gonna use him.  But if spit UB dominates early and gets kills the game is over before ooze UB comes into his own late game.

oh and also. It's "naysayer". Neigh is the sound that horses make. Unless you were trying to make a horrid pun. Which is possible. Doesn't help prove your intelligence however.

that game was actually pretty lag free.  So I don't see where you're getting that.

Lol shield is dirty but I did underestimate you after the last time you played ooze against mith, renz, and me with Kalel and Jon, I'm sure you remember that 10 minute game and how valuable shield was.  I should've went with my trusty vial or blade.  I'll happily rematch these same teams though because I think we would win if Zen and I didn't blow about 5 kills from not talking to each other and stunning too soon; but come on early enough one day and beat me with Renzo as Oak and I will say that you're for sure the better UB.

Well I guess that was harsh let me rephrase everyone but the people that actually played that game have their heads up their asses. I guess it will just take loosing to my ooze beast for that head to work its way out of your asses because that is the only way it seems to make people understand. It took Mcshane loosing to it for him to see that it is in fact a viable build and equally effective to spit beast.

I am also curious to see if doing a mirror oak + ub match would make that much of a difference in the outcome. I am sure having a shield on your end of the game would make for more interesting fights however we did end up fighting 1v1 for many of our encounters and we both lost some and won some.

As far as blown kills go Mcshane you know that there were missed opprotunities on both teams.

I watch the reply and it was a good game but pretty boring for most of it, esp near the end.

I think a pure ooze ub is an ok build but it really does fall short esp in 1v1s against a hybrid  beast. You lost almost all your 1v1s with the spit beast and often needed to retreat or have support come.

This game would of been over faster and much different if rawrrrr was ere and zen was oak.  That would of been two early kills for the spit beast which would of prob change the outcome.

Last time I checked this was a team game TEAM being the key word in that just in case you didn't get it. Only time a 1 v1 should even matter is in games of 1 v 1, but not in team game. Tb and Oc works better as a team then individually, but that doesn't mean they should be held any less.

1v1 matters a ton. If you can't win a 1v1 fight for a flag, you lose warscore, you lose levels and eventually you lose towers and finally portals. If you have a killer combination that wins every single 2v2 engagement but cannot win either 1v1 engagement then that team will lose even though they work better as a "team". All your opponents have to do is split up on the map and with the judicious use of locks, force you to either hold no flags at all or separate.

What he's trying to imply is that Oak is much more valuable as support to a beast then Erebus.  You can play a lot differently knowing there's always a shield to save your life.  And actually 1 vs 1 kind of does matter, the reason Reg and DA are considered weak is because they can't be counted on to push anyone except for other Regs and DAs off a flag in 1 vs 1.

Now that everyone's involved I guess I will start making excuses lol.  First of all I carried 2 helms most of the game which I haven't done since I was a noob swift anklet spit UB last year.  Also when I was level 12 I tried to cut off cow near the mid towers with zen retreating, after a port and shield by Rawrr I got owned very quickly, getting punked like that when I was out-leveling everyone cost us.  Also I believe I had grofflings war plate and nimoths chest armor but no health regen, basically I tried to get fancy to deal with this whacky no spit UB and it failed.

Question: Do you even /need/ a helm if you're fighting a pure Ooze Beast? In theory, a single spit is all you need to secure a fight assuming you both have monks, blah-blah. It's like a Sedna with no heal or an Assassin Oak with no Pentitence. One ability is all you need to secure the upper-hand and you don't need helms for that.

You could have just purchased 5 armors like him, been at the exact same amount of hp/armor from items with slightly slower attack and movement speed (and snare). Also, Unbreakables gives enough mana for an additional high-level spit so it seems like your natural mana pool and regen + Unbreakables would be enough.

Grofflings + Unbrekables + Narmoths + Nimoths + Haubrek - Level 12:

Stats for Unclean Beast at Level 12

Health 6160 ( 13002.528 Modified Armored Health )
