No, moderators should remove any information and/or scripts which can damage a member's system if lacking a note of caution. Same applies for delving directly into the registry. I am happy for you that you are so vastly experienced, however ONLY some here will easily match your wealth of knowledge or surpass it. It is the task of RESPONSIBLE people

And I come from a group who bypasses the Windows shell entirely however that experience tells me scripts can and do break computer systems leaving the unwary totally lost. I can say with 100% confidence that this script will not mess with your system in any way . It does no modification at all, with the exception of moving a wallpaper out of the current directory you are running your slideshow out of, to C:\Windows\temp. I come from a usenet group that goes far, far deeper into windows customization. Scripts are hands down, the best way to "use windows, to modify windows."

Out of all the gadget\widget systems, I like and use windows gadgets. Ive always hated the stupid side toolbar that appears over a gadget when you move the mouse on top of them. It ruins the look of the gadget IMO, and all the functions of the toolbar can be accessed when right clicking or dragging a gadget. Here, this thing... Remove the gadget\sidebar toolbar in Windows 7 (and probab
I noticed that you had replaced the "sort by" option in the desktop right click context menu, with one of your own. Is there any way, via email ([email protected]), pm, or just post here where you found this? I used to do it back in the old days with resource hacker, but it seems 7 doesn't use quiet then same files! Or maybe it does? IDK I searched the HELL out of shell32.... Please help me if you can, I'm just a poor man who cant afford to have icons on hi
