Everyone who does something new or does things better will eventually be copied. The trick is to use what you have seen to fuel your creative fire, and not to make changes to art that is some else's. Microsoft did it! Look at the use of color in the apple logo, then look at the MS-Windows logo. hmmmm... Apple has always been a step ahead of MS in style and art. Hell look at the cases.
