I am still waiting for my copy of GC2 but I encountered this problem with other games. Whenever this happened I could make my mouse visible again by going to controlpanel->mouse and activating the mouse trail. This can be done without using the mouse by simply using keys. Unfortunelty the frozen Cursor stays on the screen, but the mousepointer is visible again.

@Gecko: Its not about the money, well it is kinda since I dont want to pay $10 more to download it, and if I really wanted to play the game now I would download it. But I can wait and since the game wont be less enjoyable in a few weeks I will wait. With the money saved I can spend the time drinking beer (kidding) @Peace: I took a look at the pricing at totalgaming.net (tg.net actually stands f
Its $44,95 (strangely enough on the stardock news they advertise it at $39,95) and at play.com I can get it for about $34,80 (€28,99) and I get the original english version, a cd (or dvd?) and a most likely a manual. So why should I pay almost 30% more to get less?

But to my question, if I buy the german version can I set the language to english? P.S. W

I could of course send it directly to your email, if thats ok.

The game FEAR also installs a special? version of DirectX9c called August edition, so I am guessing that the problems come from some sort of incompatibility with that directx version. DesktopX had no troubles with the 'normal' DirectX9c installation. So far I tried deinstalling FEAR, reinsta
