Updated IconX, but it still doesn't work ... *sniff*. Whatever IconPackage is applied, when I try to load IconX it crashes with an error in directgui.dll. But on my laptop it's working – it has been working all the time! Apogee together with IconX. ?

On my machine Opera is faster than Firefox 1.0.7, but today I've installed FF 1.5 RC1 and the Fasterfox extension. I've switched to "Turbo" mode, and really that's what Firefox is now: turbo fast. My e-mail provider (GMX in Germany) has a very good spam filter, it filters more than 90% of the spam. I have installed a rule so that the filtered spam goes into a special folder (on the server) where it will automatically be deleted after one day, and in that folder there are constantly about 70(!) e-mails. I don't think that it is a problem with the peripherals. It sounds more like a bad installation of Windows. Some manufacturers put a lot of crap into OEM-installations and/or the wrong drivers.
