I attempt to surf the site, and no matter what filters are or are not activated, what section I go to, or what date range I choose, it tells me nothing matches my search. This makes it extremely hard to find and download skins. I had even considered getting a premium skin for my windowblinds so I'd have a great working dark theme that's fully Win10 ready.... but I can't. Any fix in sight? - Drake.

Dear Stardock Object Desktop staff: Now that the Windows 10 OS has finally settled in as the primary version going forward for a while, and you've finally gotten to updating WindowBlinds, and given us a few Win10-targeted customizers, I'm wondering if we might start to see some updates to some of the other classic OD apps, or new customization apps that perform some of their functions, such as: Using Icon packagfes? DesktopX widgets and

I'm running into this issue now on Windows 10 - no apps I download will activate for the past couple/few days now. I am getting very frustrated. I have tried activating with the Object Desktop key, with my account name and password, and attempted the offline activation... it won't even do a trial - when I try to go to the activation.stardock.com page, with http it tells me it's forbidden and with https, it sends me to the main site. what the hell?

Every single day for the past couple weeks I get the same pop up in the corner, saying that Stardock Central has updates available.... only once did it ACTUALLY have new items and I almost ignored it because I keep getting these false alarms. Even now, as we speak, I open Stardock Central and it tells me there's an update to Decor8 1.05 [beta] waiting for download and install. But if I open Decor8, it tells me it IS 1.05 [beta] so... what's going on guys? Can we get

Seriously, Stardock... How long does Windows 8 have to be out before you release WindowBlinds for it? I've been paying for Object Desktop and WindowBlinds was always my #1 reason to keep it... and here I sit, having had Windows 8 since the preview builds, unable to use my damned WB... even now, after at least six months of having a FULL FINAL VERSION INSTALLED. What's going on here?

November 29, and still no official word on a release date for WindowBlinds 8? Please, keep us in the loop... There are a lot of us early adopters waiting with baited breath for your flagship product's update here... Can we get some info, please? I mean, Win 8 has only been around now for nearly four months since RTM and was available in various beta stages for nearly a year. Usually you guys are so on top of keeping this one up to snuff, I'm just a

I'm a 20-plus year veteran, and been tech support for over a decade; YES I rebooted, and yes, when I run DeskScapes Config I can get to change my Deskscapes wallpaper... but under the MAIN personalize it's all GONE. I can't change NORMAL wallpaper or window transparency/color or any of that other than by right-clicking and setting a pic as desktop wallpaper. But the control panel itself is EMPTY. Nada there. I *know* that is not right. I need a fix. </p

Ok guys... here's my issue: Love the new interface in the update today (Thurs, Aug 30) but the text is all white, and the background image/gradient is a baby blue to white fade. This means that I cannot see but about the first 4-6 rows of text... anything below that is gone. HELP! lol - DrakeSteele

WindowBlinds will completely change the look and feel of the windows interface, and it will no longer be running Aero, if you change themes under WB. However, if you want to keep running the Aero interface, you can do so and change the color scheme of the windows, by simply right-clicking the desktop, choosing Personalize... and then selecting "Window Color and Appearance." Hope that helps. <img

Base functionality thru browser: Single-screen, using dropdowns for categories and such. For offline creation, direct upload from the design apps, directly in the format that auto-installs for each app. Maybe even a plugin for Photoshop and compatibles that allows direct upload of images for Wallpapers as well. That's pretty much my take. - Drake Steele.

Here's why I want a subscription, and it's fairly simple. I'm coming out of a very rough past couple years... I've been homeless and jobless, but I have finally started to get things together. I'm working full time, things are looking up - have a lease on a place, and all is better. But my money is still extremely tight. I have been a HUGE fan of all of Stardock's stuff for years. But I am limited to their public versions due to my lack of money... However if I could get a su

My vote: Azenis 2 for useability and just cause it's so damned slick. My runner-up is fett for it's grungy industrial/military look... and it does that and still ends up MOSTLY usable. Excellent go by all however, and I use several of these regularly since downloading. (Right now, tho, I have Azenis 2 up.)
