How do I upgrade? in Windows Vista WinCustomize Forums

I have a brand new laptop with Vista. i have Windowblinds 4. I am going to upgrade to 6 and pay the extra cost but do I need to iinstall Version 4 on my new, clean machine first? (Don't want to if I don't have to.) THX
