So rather than downloading 2.83 GB over the course of an hour over the internet, it turns out I can just copy my PROGRAM FILES\STARDOCK GAMES\DEMIGOD directory to other machines (via a thumb drive) and all is well. This method is way faster, doesn't consume or require bandwidth, and works better for sharing over a LAN. I'm assuming that this is a sanctioned way to shared an updated copy on the LAN - is that right?

I couldn't find much in the docs, so I searched the forums. Here's what I came up with: 1) Goto http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com/home.aspx, login, click on demigod 2) Click on the 'If you have Impulse but would like to download a full offline installation, click here to download Demigod." link 3) Download the nine file (a few gigs worth) 4) Have the other LAN participants run the demigod installer from step 3 Is that

Yeah, I thought about the 'don't die' tactic already :) What I've noticed is that, even if I don't customize the angle, death always changes it. This means that I'll play it at whatever angle the game gives me by default, and get used to it. But if I die, then when I respawn the angle is now different. It's not that I necessarily like one over the other, it's the constant changing of the angle that's bothersome. I've basically decided just to take what's

I can definitely see how the element of surprise is good, but it sure would be helpful to anyone trying to learn the game. I like the idea of seeing stuff like that after the game or as part of a summary/replay. I think it would be extremely valuable to see how others played their DG, along with the items they chose.

During a game I often want to see what the enemy DG bought in the way of items. For example, he'll be able to evade well, or otherwise be really tough to kill. It's not due to unique abilities, so it must be due to items. Is there a way for me to see what he's bought so that I can learn from him?

So that doesn't work at all. Apparently 'reset camera angle' means that the game resets the angle to what *it* wants it to be. It always changes my custom camera angle when I die and the reset changes the angle to the game's default. So, every time I die, I have to painstakingly reset the camera angle. You can watch it do this by checking out the minimap. When the game starts, it's at a 45 degree angle. I change it to 90 degrees. After I die,

Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's playing differently with the patch, but now everytime I die it does this 'rotate the camera' thing when it does the blur-out/desaturate death sequence. It would be kind of nice if it didn't do that, or at least had the option not to, as it's really disorienting - especially after I've gone through some effort to get the camera angle just right. It's not that big of a deal, but I thought I'd mention it since it seems like new behavior that does mor

Yup, I guess the minimap is more of a HUD thing (where it's for display purposes only) and not something that you can interact with. It would be cool, though, if I could move by clicking on the map. In the meantime I'll do the 'click close then further away' thing.

Hi, This is probably due to the fact that I'm used to playing DotA, but I constantly find myself clicking on the minimap as an easy way to tell my DG to go to a particular area of the map. I'll click a couple of times, realize that it doesn't cause anything to happen, then scroll the map via the mouse to view the area of interest and click there to tell my DG to go there. This process is really slow, and just scrolling the map to the spot where I want to go
