So, ok, it must be objectdesktop. Regardless it doesn't seem to like me having it on multiple machines. I can provide licenses but clearly not in the forum

First, I seem to have two licenses: one renewed in June and the second is about to renew. What software is included with an objectdock license? I ask because Fences yelled at me and could not be installed until I uninstalled it from my old desktop.

I seem to remember a time when there was an Objectdock license where a person could have a copy on each of their machines. I have a desktop, laptop, and a mac running windows under parallels. In addition I'm in the process of configuring a new desktop machine which will replace my current desktop. Obviously (I think) I'm only using one machine at a time. but I run into trouble, I think, if the laptop is left on but I'm using the desktop. Can someone tell me please about l

Problem solved... and it's weird. The problem was with Google Chrome. When using Chrome to download Object Desktop the install works but the app crashes as described previously. I got frustrated and decided to use the Vivaldi browser and using it object desktop downloads, installs and then runs correctly. While I don't understand why, I can reproduce the problem. So thanks for suggestions but I'm good now. Derw Bourrut

I got a new pc to replace my old Dell which has been running object desktop flawlessly. The new machine is a mini from BOSGAME with a Ryzen 6000series 9 processor running win 11. I've tried everything Ican think of and then this morning I decided to reset windows. I didn't help. Object Desktop opens but before i can do anything it closes. This pattern is consistenty. I need help. Thanks, Drew Bourrut

For me, the most key product is Fences. After that I'd love to see an updated virtual desktops. I'm not a fan of the one built into windows. I like the idea of naming my individual virtual desktops and being able to see what's running on each without having to click on something. Your approach with a bar showing each virtual desktop and what was running on it seems the way to go. Keep up the good work.

On Windows 10 Tiles appears to not be able to show modern apps except when that app is the one being used. For example If I click on the Spotify tile the Windows Edge tile disappears. But if I then click on the Edge icon on the task bar the Edge tile reappears . Is there a fix for this? Thanks, Drew

I have four monitors connected to three computers: 3 4 1 2 Above is the arrange ment. Monitors 1 and 2 are dual monitors on my main computer. I want to arrange things so that when I go up from monitor 1 I end up on the monitor 3 screen and when I go up from monitor 2 I end up on the monitor 4 screen. Using the configure grid monitors 1 and 2 show as only one image (Primary) so there is no way to place 3 above 1 an

Another wish. I wish you could sort the icons in a fence so that they would be in some order. Thanks, Drew Bourrut

I have a couple of shortcuts that refuse to be fenced. That is, I drag them into a fence and they stay where ever I drop them. Unlike a regular shortcut which the Fence "grabs" and moves to the next position. Then if I move the fence, I see that the fence and other icons move both those few remain where I placed them. That is, they really were on the desktop all along. For example, this shortcut: "C:\Program Files\ibm\Lotus\Symphony\symphony.exe" refuses to be fenced.

There is a feature on the add a secondary machine screen called Monitor Control (Shares With). I think the implication is this: Monitor 1 - Monitor 2 |...........|......| comp1 Comp2 The diagram is attempting to show one monitor connected to Computer1 and both monitors connected to computer2. The drop down choices under monitor control imply that this is possible but there is no mention in the documentation. So, is it possible? Thanks, Dre

While I don't know what's causing your problems I run Multiplicity Pro on a Vista machine with two monitors and an xp machine with one monitor. The Vista machine is the main machine and Multiplicity has never caused a crash on my system. BTW I'm running Vista Business Edition. Drew

It would be great if the virtual desktop feature available would support multiple monitors so that object bar would show (with two monitors) what was on the left and what was on the right. Currently it only shows what is on the primary monitor.

I run a few pgms that use the 16-bit subsystem. If I run one of these long enough I get the following message: "The Win 16 Subsystem has insufficient resources to continue running." What does this have to do with ObjectDockPlus? I don't know but with that loaded I get these msgs significantly more often. Could there be a link? TIA
