Suggest you try the /nosound fix. Might be that the sound compability issue is your problem and not the gfx card. Put the line /nosound in the target line of the demigod shortcut and see if that helps your fps.
put it in the target line of the shortcut. You right click the shortcut and chose properties and on the line thats marked "Target:" you add it after the path so it locks something like this: "E:\Games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe /nosound".
Actually i run it on an AMD athlon xp 2400+ along with a Geforce 7950 GT. I DO have problems when running with sounds but without sound it runs flawlessly on highest settings. So i guess it depends on if the sound problem is related to the cpu or if its a compability issue due to bad code or something.
It looks like there is some kinda compability/performance issues with some sound systems (in my case realtek 97 ac) and the game. The /nosound in the shortcut worked for me but to be honest playing the game without sound just isnt that great. Hopefully developers are working on a fix. I just cant see that sound processing is supposed to hog that much resources as to make the game unplayable with sound on lowest gfx quality and then work perfectly on highest quality without sound. Hopefully th
Would just like to say that I had big fps problems and the /nosound worked perfectly. Without sound i can run the game on highest resolution with all options turned to high (which is impresiv since my computer isnt really top notch). I hope the sound problems gets fixed. My sound is integrated in the motherboard.
