I have been using fences for some time. I started with my XP machine and now have it on my Windows 7 PC and it works great, except for one thing, I have to edit many of my icons descriptions and such because they get cut off by the fence border. I keep the fences set to invisible, I do not want to see them. The grouping work just fine. I have dual monitors, a 25" and 23" the icons and fences are on the 25" monitor. Ok, Thank you for the very quick reply. I was debating if I should remove the free version, will it mess up the pro installation? Also I seem to have a bug....Do not know if this is the right place for it, but here goes. Fences and Fences Pro Showing Both as Installed in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

My computer and Impulse are both showing that I have Fences, and Fences Pro Installed, is this possible, can I remove Fences without messing up Fences Pro, has anyone had this problem, I have cpu issues, and it appears to be when I designate the fences to be locked. It goes to 100% on explorer, but if I unlock the fences, it drops back to typica 4% idle rate.

I am using Ultramon also and I have not had any conflicts, I use fences to maintain my icons, ultramon for dual taskbar support

I have had fences on my computer for a bit now, and it was working fine, then Impulse indicated there was an update, so I installed, now it tell me my installation is corrupted and has lost its integrity, remove and reinstall, I have done this like 5 times now and no joy.. I recently downloaded the word wars game for my wife, she loves word games, she has a system with windows 2000 on it, the computer has proper processor, 3d graphics and plenty of memory, I updated the Direct X to the most current.
