Just installed Windowblinds8 Beta and the only issues I see are on Start8's Start Menu. On the Start menu the "All Programs" has no visible title, the Search Box and Shutdown box are so small the text cannot be fully displayed.
The biggest problem with Win 8 is there is an inherent assumption that everyone is using a touchscreen. It is specifically designed for touchscreens and is horrible for us keyboard and mouse users. We will need a new front-end so we can actually use the system. If the previews are anything like the final product then it is not good for PC users.
I was able to renew, but when I download the software from the Myaccount/product page none of the software will accept my OD Serial number, even though it tells me to use it.
Has anything gotten settled yet with how to renew a subscription? My Object Desktop subscription expired June 30th. I received no notification and cannot renew as Impulse isn't being used and nothing has replaced it. You would think by now something would be in place to allow us to renew!
It appears you have to unload WindowBlinds if you try and play Fallout 3. The screen keeps flickering a Windows border even though the program is running full screen. So you will see it switching from full screen to Windows mode ever like 1/4 second.
