Thread was worth it for the 'whore mouth' lolcat alone.

You are a bit faster and won't be taking any hits if done right, so you'll probably be back at full health to spit again. Did someone have to use an item? An ability? Did they have to change an initial pick to offset the potential of a UB spitter? What if you wanted to pick Pest as Oak but inst
anyone with a dispel will completely nullify your strategy, be that oak with shield or Sedna with his heal or someone with orb of defiance et cetera. Also if you all three are on one lane then you lose map control and waste 50% of the XP you get from reinforcements.
Though this is true, the time the enemy spends spawning has to be considered. Odds are pretty good this strategy is going to be hard to
Always try to get favor disallowed, but if I cant, I'll take the anclet, because its useful all game. I think all favor items should give a scaling buff or even a buff/debuff combo. It would make all favor items useful beyond the first few levels and therefore make them more wanted. With scalable I mean stuff like "+20% ability damage/-20% mana and mana regen" or "removes all harmful effects, can
There is a key strategy here that I rarely see happen in game. Sell some of your goodies for the betterment of the game. I've had to strip my demigod for cats / giants. Yes suddenly I'm not as effective however, the win makes it all feel better. I wish more people would do this or at least agree to some type of joint venture to get the key cit upgrades in a timely fashion.
Monks, Flemish, Normoth, HoL and the occasional Citadel upgrade in between them.
I'm just as guilty of a sucker as the rest of us. HoL is what seems to stop most people from building Cit Upgrades or purchasing other items that would have a direct effect mid game. "I can't get that yet, I'm 1200 from HoL!" It's pretty amazing what that one specific item does to everyones mid game mentallity.
I posted the same thing all ready in one of the journal topics, but I think the Bite nerf is too harsh. I think a more appropriate nerf would've just been hitting the mana cost and cooldown, and then slapping a maximum duration on Mist instead of focusing so heavily on Bite.
It may be a tad early to be calling the nerf overboard. This will undoubtedly change the builds of LE and perhaps we'll see some va
In regards to AceQ's comment about assasins and liking to be low on kills: Find any general who likes to be, as well.
True fact about generals too I guess. Clan based (or similar) Pantheon could change that mindset. Then again it's always hard to find a support class in any multiplayer game. Rarely did anyone need another mage in WoW. Flip to a healing class and the party invites rolled endles
Well when you hit the favor button as TB you can select the tab below it on the upper left (with a dagger or similar) to see other items. TB is the current controversy with everyone posting positives and negatives based on individual play style. I've decided to start the long process of figuring out what the best hybrid is for my play style. As a rule, I enjoy the fire circle over the rain of ice. Check. I like the frost nova over the fire nova. check. et
No love for TB-Ice against UB? UB's primary advantages speed and the dreaded spit / run. TB-Ice handles it nicely with a speed debuff and attack debuff. (it's just the rest of the game TB-Ice stuggles with) Also I realize this thread is a look at the dark forces primary players being UB but noticed a tangent and have played quite a few games against him. Anyone remember the early threads about the unstoppable QoT?
I've been actually very successful with my strategy, were you? And from your point of view, it seems like mindless usage of abilities instead of conserving mana. And you should actually choose favor items according to your opposing teams setup.
Can you give an example of this? When would it be better to take one item instead of antoher based off of an opposing demigod choice?
I just gave this concept a spin. The combo of the wand / favor item was really intriguing. I was able to soak up lane traffic for 'endless' amounts of time and still had pleanty left to fend off unwanted foes. The wand a bit later helped the retreat when things got dicey. I ran with the boots / wand and reccomend that. It seems everyone is up on speed and having a tad extra kept me alive when DG's wondering why I'm soaking endless cash came calling. <p
This is interesting because I've seen quite a few people saying you should stay with one side as a primary and I tend to agree. I've played most of the classes but found TB to be the most fun on the battle field. (OK Sniping runners across the map with Regulus is fun but also annoying to the teammates.) While testing different builds, the delay flipping from Ice to Fire was getting me killed and lowering the overall damage potential. Even TB's regular shots are
Just seeing ANY comment about a wounded Demigod would be fantastic. Actually ANY communication other than, "OMFG! *Random Demigod* is so overpowered!" would be phenominal. I realize the game is new and everyone is just trying out strategies and getting a basic understanding of the game however, some communication goes a long way to learning and get this - winning! I know, it's total garbage and I'm a noob that need to learn to win on his own
It's kind of amazing to see the massive variance of Oak players. I've found a ton of luck with nothing but Raise Dead, pest and soul power. The build isn't strong until mid game when it really becomes a fun way to play. I'll use siege minions early and get the priests later. The key to early survival is shield - early kills come along with pestilence. Generally Oak needs a bit of backup early game so run with your teammates until you can get your legs. Yo
