One of the loading screen tips suggests that you can simply offset the -health from Ooze with some +health per second items. Much easier than worrying about life steal :P

I guarantee you if you start doing that as often as possible, you will win.
I buy at least equal items:citadel upgrades ratio. I've even tried to completely forgo hero progression and simply stand back and rake in cash purely for citadel upgrades. Nothing works with allied AI this stupid and enemy AI so brutal. So yeah, your guarantee fails >_>

This is the second game I've played in the last few months that's suffered from this problem. It was very difficult in DoW2 to steamroll someone as well because you had to wait for tickets to deplete even if you controlled the field. Maybe have something like WoW has when you die a lot; a resurrection timer. This could be implemented by simply having a sharply increased respawn timer if you die multiple times within a short timespan. Something along the lines of 1 minute respawn if yo

On nightmare difficulty they do get a few bonus's, check the manual in the install folder if you want to see for yourself.
Stardock didn't make this game, they published it. Gas Powered Games made this game and I'm pretty sure the AI does, indeed, cheat. I'd try confirm vs. a human player, but... well... multiplayer doesn't work particuarly wel

OK, so I'm not crazy then. The AI is indeed cheating on Hard AI in Tournament mode. Thanks for the clarification. I'd also noticed the insane stupidity of friendly bots on Hard AI as well. I've experienced them standing at the base doing nothing for up to 20 seconds at a time and falling back before they need to but at other times they'll throw themselves into the fray and just die without even falling back. It certainly feels a lot more artificial than intelligent. Guess I'll

Thanks for the clarification TheDagger. I guess I must just suck then if Hard is meant to be "same as playing against a person" in terms of game mechanics. I'm just sick of companies that take the cheap route with AI and just break game mechanics to create difficulty instead of actually coding the AI itself to be more or less difficult. I'll keep at it til I learn the classes on Hard then and head into the Pantheon from there.

I'm not exactly sure who is in charge of AI balancing at GPG but Demigod's AI is anything but balanced. Played through the campaign on Normal and thought "Wow, that was too insanely easy. Hopefully hard provides more of a challenge!" and then I start again on Hard and can't win a single match. I'd really hate to see what Easy or Insane considering I found Normal a cakewalk and Hard impossible... So my question to the population (or to the developers) is this: does the
