For all those suggesting ridiculous Artifacts to boost damage, did you not read the part about there being 0 kills and 0 deaths? This map has 2 bonus gold mines which she controlled the entire time. Neither of us could afford anything but the base-level stuff from the shop and some citadel upgrades. Thanks for the tips about heal being a cleanse though. I had no idea on that one. This is 1v1 as in 1 player per team... not as in "ohh there's a lone Demigod on a field of 8". Couldn't cap flags because she could just tank all the damage I dealt to her, ergo can't win via map control. I tried that, that's why the match went on for so long :(

As title states, I want to know if she has a counter at all. Played a 2hr (I shit you not) 1v1 on Crucible with UB vs. Sedna and I can't think of any DG that could actually defeat her in 1v1. At first I thought "Alright, so Sedna is counter to UB. That's fair enough" but then I started racking my brain trying to think of any other DG that could actually defeat her in 1v1. TBs aren't fantastic DG killers, they're more about control. Fireball doesn't do that much damage, in fact UB spit does more damage at max rank. There's also lots of counters to Fireball because of the long cast time (Stuns/Shields). The only time you can get a lot of burst off on a DG is if you go Frost and get the 3x Shatter bonus. Hard Skirmishes are easy as piss. Hard Tournament and your allied AI are just complete retards and run towards large groups of enemy DGs to get gibbed instantly, thus feeding them insanely. The only way I've been able to win any match in a Hard tournament is with a shield QoT build or Sedna and just tailing an assassin AI.

Don't hold your breath Medwynd. I've earned every achievement about 20 times over and still sitting on 0 achievements. This Pantheon Epoch is a complete write-off between connectivity issues, AI players in Panth matches, disappearing Favor and Achievements resetting every few games.

I believe the matchmaking searches for a game for a period and if it can't find you one it goes "Well, don't wanna keep em waiting. Toss some AI in there and let em play". This is beyond a joke. How is something as core to gameplay as a persistent points/rewards system this broken at launch? I managed to get about 4 achievements including some of the harder ones in a single match before, now ALL my progress has been lost and I'm back down to -250 favor points. Cheaper production costs. Plain and simple. They would have designed the levels plainly out on 2D top-down first and just built a pseudo-environment around them. That and the fact that you're meant to be fighting in the Pantheon/playground of the God in order to prove your worth to ascend from the rank of Demigod to God. If anything they should nerf his ability to kill steal. Was in a game before where I did about 2x as much damage as this Erebus player but he stole every kill that I was about to make as a TB. He ended up with like 25 kills and I ended up with over 30 assists thanks to all his kill stealing >_>

Same here. I think it's something to do with achievements in a game. I was just in a game where I earned 3 achievements (300 Favor) and 190 Favor from the win (yes, I dominated that much) and ended up going from 150 Favor down to -55 :( What's the point of having persistent items and progression through favor points if they're so downright broken?

What were your team-mates doing during these times? If, as has been theorised, this TB was being fed by retarded/AI team-mates then he could have easily had an artifact or two. I've been able to melt people in a single Fireball + Auto attack before but only when they were 3 or more levels below me and when I had the two best gloves and an artifact or two. Yeah. The Heart is an item I strive for in every game with any Assassin I play as (Generals less so). It really does need a bit of a nerf. I reckon 1 minute cooldown (up from 30 sec) and the requirement to stand still will make it more balanced. Leave the gold cost as-is though. It's just currently too powerful if you can simply kite someone away while regenning to full health/mana, especially as the TB.

The issue with Regulus in this instance is that damage for Snipe is increased over range and I believe it calculates the range that the projectile flies after it's been fired, not when it is initially "cast" so you end up getting a massive sniper bolt in the chest dealing between 1 and 1.5k dmg.

It's been a real hit and miss affair with me. I only started playing online tonight (after being capped all last week). I managed 4 games with no issues then went and had a break for dinner. I come back and can't get into a single game. So basically it's about 50:50 for me at the moment, but that ratio is sliding in favour of the "failed connections" rather quickly.

I stopped using melee DGs altogether because of these bugs that you mentioned combined with pathing issues. Nothing frustrated me more than seeing a DG get away on under 100 health purely because my Unclean Beast was sitting there jittering around instead of chasing him.

I actually prefer to save up the 4250 for the 4000 health/mana regen gem over getting the helms. That being said I usually play as UB who doesn't use a massive amount of mana.

Like many others have said, he's not particuarly hard. You just need to know when to time your interrupt/stun. If he does a boulder + hammer you have to be prepared though. That combo is really hard to bust.
