It's so bad re-arrangement is almost unusable. https://forums.stardock.com/387292/#2796300
Sending this to Jeff. It may not be a bad idea for low end systems.
I'm almost forced to reply to this because of the comment implying this problem really applies to 'low end' systems - seeing that almost made me laugh out loud. No offense intended, but if Stardock has the illusion that this is a system configuration issue, please wake up!!! The lag and terrible performance of Fences when dragging a fence on my workstation i
I'm not an icon artist, but I would recommend making it customizable. No one ever says "I wish I didn't have the option of customizing this"
Well that's really a function of the number of icons: currently the only toolbar icons we have are the few that are already visible. It would really only be worthwhile to make the programming effort to switch to a new toolbar component if we had enough icons for the end-user to be able to usefully assemble a custom toolbar

I'm one of the developers of [link="http://hof.povray.org"]POV-Ray[/link], a free 3d application for multiple platforms, including Windows. I originally posted my request in the icons forum, where it was suggested that I post to this thread as well. We've got a major release of POV coming up and we'd like to refresh the icons (toolbar and perhaps the application icon as well) for the windows version. We're looking for an icon creator who would be interested in doing these either for cre

Folks, I'm one of the developers of POV-Ray , a free 3d application for multiple platforms, including Windows. [The link I gave shows some of the work done with POV, our main site is here ]. We've got a major release coming up and we'd like to refresh the toolbar icons for the windows version. I'm hoping the folks here could point me at some icon creators who might be interested in doing these either for credit in

Note: I see now that the reboot doesn't happen if I select 'total exclusion' in WB config (that wasn't my impression earlier but now at least appears to be the case). So it appears I can get around the problem, but nevertheless I would recommend that stardock still investigate this since it's never nice to have your system reboot under you because of a software glitch.

When I start Intel's VTune performance profiling application whilst WindowBlinds is running, the effect is an instant reboot (not even a blue screen; the system just reboots). This happens with both WB4 and WB5 beta. I have confirmed WB is the cause by first unloading all other add-ons (e.g. objectdock and so forth) and running VTune while only WB was active (caused reboot). I then unloaded WindowBlind

This was actually a known issue and updating to the latest version should address it. for some reason the new beta is not showing up in SDC, but it doesn't worry me much now since once I registered the 490 I downloaded it's been working fine, so I wouldn't be able to test the fix anyhow. on

For some reason the forum software keeps on putting my posts into the wrong forum, so I'll post what I'm trying to tell here: I had the same problem so many folks were reporting here; WB5 installed but all I could get was the 'classic' skin in XP. I was about to uninstall it but fortunately just before I did I noticed that our network firewall had logged a failed connection to sdcentral.stardock.com/activate/activate.aspx at about the time I installed the beta. So I fired u
