Reply to problem with deskscapes 3 and fences in DeskScapes WinCustomize Forums

I'm also having issues with Deskscapes 3 and Fences Pro. Whenever I run a dream, my icons appear on screen and I cannot hide them. From my perspective I would like to be able to run a dream or view a wallpaper unhindered. For mine, having the ability to turn icons on and off is one feature I consider a must so If anyone has a fix so that (fences can be retained) icons can be hidden while dreams are being displayed I would be keen to hear about it. Do I need to install Stardock Central? in Stardock Support General Stardock Forums

I previously used Stardock products on a system running Win XP but have now migrated to a laptop running Vista Home Basic. In the past I would have installed stardock central then the programs I have access to. I assume I still need to take this route before installing Impulse or does Impulse remove the need to use stardock central. Would appreciate feedback on this. [e digicons]:d[/e]

Bootskin not happening in Customization WinCustomize Forums

I've downloaded Bootskin Pro via Impulse and am dismayed that my chosen skin isn't running prior to the logon screen appearing. I run Vista (think it's 32 bit) on a HP laptop (Pavilion Entertainment). Not sure what might be the issue here. Any thoughts or suggestions would be most welcome. Wondering whether it might have something to do with Defender. All my other stardock programs (apart from IconX which I discovered isn't compatible) seem to work fine. [e digicons]8C[/e]

Adding comments in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I wanted to add a comment in reference to a DesktopX theme I downloaded today. On clicking the 'add comment' button a white box came up but I was not able to enter any text. I tried saving then clicking on edit without any success. Rather than leave an empty comment box with my name against it, I would like to successfully add my comments. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated. I should add that I tried logging out and back in to no avail. [e digicons]#:([/e]

Reply to color loss in Tutorials WinCustomize Forums

I'm experiencing similar issues with regard to Bootskins. All bootskins I've installed appear as though they are in 16 colour mode. All other imagery (wallpapers, desktopx themes, photos etc) on my computer appear in normal full colour. If my bootskin issue is something that can be resolved I would be pleased to hear about it.
