Hi guys, I am trying to create a new galaxy map with the Forge utility, however, I keep getting problems and I'm a noob at this. When I save the game in the Programs/Stardock Games/Sins/Galaxy folder and try to open it in the Game. The map loads and quickly says Defeated. It shows that all planets are covered with pirates. What can I do to get rid of that? I only have one pirate base in the game so far and 4 players and are spaced out in the map.

I've been playing for quiet a while and was really wishing for more defenses. So I started thinking and wondered if it would be possible insert a planetary defense upgrade to the planet menu. You upgrade everything now, except for defenses, but it would be great it you could build defense satellites that would attack ships that get too close, like pillagers and siege frigates. It would give you another way to defend your planet from pirate attacks as well as make it a little harder to destroy

Oh I noticed something else. I don't know if it bothers anyone else, but I think the starting locations are way to close to each other. Every game I play there have been other capital planets within 2-3 jumps away, sometimes only one jump. I don't like that at all. I want some time for all the players and myself to spread out a little before coming into contact with one another. It would also let people take more planets before the AI does and let you amass larger fleets for getting battles

I would like to see some more options for custom games. It would be cool if you could edit things like logistic numbers and ship cap when playing a custom game. I mean those are the fun games and the player should be able to make them how they want. If you're a novice maybe you could stop with lots of starting logistics points and fleet caps, while those more experienced players can choose lower numbers. Also it would be really cool if you would pick the starting ships, or at least the start

Something I noticed and would love to see done is when you zoom in, could you guys make it zoom in on the position your cursor is at and not from where you zoomed out of. It would save a great amount of time from searching from a location if you could simply zoom out, point to a location and zoom back into that specific location.

Hey thanx a lot. I don't think the tree jumping would have too much effect since its fairly small. I feel it might be more useful than harmful.

I agree completely with the logistic number. It is way to low for your home planet and other planets. This really slows down the game as you can end up needing to make many more planets just to build up your empire. Perhaps the logistic upgrades could add more slots next time around. I also feel like we are really limited with defense platforms. I think we need something else or at least the ability to research and upgrade the stations. Perhaps the gauss platforms could get missile

Just started playing the game for a few hours and man is this game addictive lol. The time just flew by. I think this might be one of the most fun games I've played, even though I'm starting to get used to it. Stardock and Ironclad did a great job, like always. Some suggestions though from things I noticed: 1. I think the tutorials should talk about slots more and let the players know they have to upgrade in order to build more and more space structures. I started playing

well range could limit intercept ability. Like bombs can't be intercepted, but missiles and torpedoes or any other ranged ordinance can be by point defenses. It's only an idea though

If any of you have played Sword of the Stars I think some ideas could be taken from there. I would really look forward to begin able to target certain sections of a ship. This will really give players a lot more strategy and make things very interesting. For example, you can target engines, weapons emplacements, bridge, hanger bays, everything really and they all can have different armor hit points. So if you are going up against an enemy with a massive force, you would be able to
