I thought this too. But never forget, that many games where released ARENT BUGGED OR IMBALANCED( In earlier times...!). I mean today there arent so many of this kind. but for example on a console (N64, Gamecube and so on...) there was no support - Because there was no need! The thing I wanna say is, that if they made the games without bugs and network problems, there wouldnt have been a need for the last 2-3 months of support. Got it? [/q

The journal updates keep me coming back to the sites of all your games, which keeps my interest up. The honest and, most of the time, friendly communication makes me like Stardock and want to support you. So for people who are like me these updates means more sales in the long run.
More of this. You guys are a seriously sympathetic bunch of people. :)
POS = Piece of shit ;) And thanks for the update.

I believe you just have to contact . Edit: I will not buy an extra copy, since I don't have the money. ;) I will however recommend it to my friends when connectivity is a bit more stable.
I agree. Interesting idea.
This is what he said Rumors:
We aren't disputing that you're hearing sound crackling on your machine. We just aren't sure what we can do about it. We will look into it.
I guess they will look into it ;)
Iw will be released for pre-orders today 9-12 EDT (13-16 GMT if I'm correct [+1 due to day-light savings?]). Stardock will send out emails with the correct keys around this time and after that you will be able to download it through Impulse. Hope I understood you correctly and that I answered correctly as well ;)
for me that would be the game as Torchbearer where I first realized how powerful the freeze spells + shatter is. I loved how I dominated that game. I soon realized however that I had been playing against AI:s and that it wasn't nearly as easy to do against real opponents. The first time I played a custom game with only human opponents was a real treat for me as well :)
Didn't find this one, though I didn't check it that carefully. Was playing a 4v4 on cataract. Two guys crashed in the beginning, but we could continue with 3v3 with one AI on each side. Quite shortly before we would've won it crashed, while I was attacking the citadel and enemy demigods. I was playing as TB. End of my log: debug: Loading module '\000/lua/sim/tasks/endshoptask.lua\000' debug: Loading module '\000/lua/formations.lua\000
I can log in as normal. Do you still have this problem? I know everybody had this problem yesterday when a small patch was made available.
Same here. I would say that as much as 50% of the games I've played were against fewer or, even worse, no opponent. Really fun game when it does work though.
I wonder if it really is correct that most people buy games the first couple of days, and if DRM therefore is succesful if it lasts just a little while? I personally never bought and never will buy a game on day one. I either pre-order it, buy it at a discount later or sometimes wait a couple of weeks for the first patches to come out. Do pre-orders count as "first-day-sold"? If so then the statistics used to say that DRM helps early sales is skewed. What does count as
It is likely that it is your virus protection that reports wrongly. Try turning it off or to manually tell the program the file is safe. Look at these threads or do some googling: https://forums.wincustomize.com/?postid=329186 http://www.amaranthia.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=4455&forum=1<
Svenitor, as far as I know the problems happened because of having non-standard letters like äöüâáà etc in your windows login-name or in any of the folders Demigod saves files to. (I think in some languages some system folders unfortunately have non-standard characters). I'd strongely hope they fixed that problem by now, but if it is your username causing the problem you can circumvent that problem if
Will us people without English Win XP be able to play this version?
I bought World of Goo (through Impulse) just to support a DRM-free game developer about a week ago. I have to say it was a good game as well!
I did preorder spore. That was the last EA game I will buy for the next couple of years. Annoying copy protection there (not to mention it was a dull game ;) ).
Hehe, yes how could I forget such a thing. Especially since every pirated copy can be directly transformed into a lost sale :p
You should have included GTA IV: Serial-key, cd-checks, one time internet activation, have to install "rockstar social club" (or whatever it is called) and "games for windows live". And Securom of course. That's really the way to reward your paying customers... Edit: I don't have the game myself. Just read lots of angry forum posts about how much can go wrong with this game. Plus it has higher system requirements than crysis... Good way to reduce the amount of p
You're an official *****. You do know that the entire Beta 1 was an engine test and they specifically did not include any of the type of generals that are supposed to offer RTS play. When the devs actually give us the RTS demigods, then you can talk about whether or not they offer RTS play, but you're a complete ******* for suggesting that you've been ripped off or otherwise wronged by the Assassins not offering RTS gameplay.
Do
Thanks, then at least i have an answer and can stop trying :) I guess if these kinds of problems make a person mad, then they really don't have a lot of actual problems in life ;)
Hi everyone. The problem I experience is as follows: When I start a skirmish game the game freezes, either directly at the loading screen right before the battle begins, or as soon as the map is shown. Sometimes I've been able to alt-tab and end the application, but about half the time i need to do a hard reboot. The solutions I've tried are switching off anti-virus, updating windows, updating drivers (though I just noticed I only have the second latest nv
