Yeah and of course there doesn't seem to be a way to do that immediately, so you have to move the constructor away & then back again. Or am I wrong about that one?

I just started playing the campaign mode, and am a couple hours into the first mission. For some reason, the people of Protos I say that even a minor civ could better use the resources of the planet, and the approval is only at 40%. I'm not sure what the problem is, as I have the appropriate structures on the two special squares, and have otherwise pretty evenly distributed research, farms & factories. I even have a couple entertainment hubs. What else

Check out the MetaverseData\English folder. It has all of the modifiable xml files, I'm sure you'll be able to find what you're looking for (TechTree.xml has the research time stuff, GC2Types.xml probably has the life support stuff).

I'm having a hard time with two aspects of starbases. For one, since they aren't very visible on the minimap and are often hard to distinguish on the main map (if there are dozens of them), I often have a hard time finding them. The best way seems to be zooming all the way out on the main map and icon hunting. Can they be given their own toggle & made more obvious on the minimap? How about a tab for them in the planet/ship pop-up page? Also

I think you did something wrong - I just ordered and you don't even have to wait for a confirmation email. The last ordering page (the receipt), that you see when it accepts your order has the download link and your serial number right on it. Although I also got a confirmation email within seconds. I think something went wrong with your order placement.
