Snipe is always your first skill you start harassment from the second the game starts
I dont agree with that, but the difference between when you want it (level 1) and when I want it (level 3) isnt really substantial. A few minutes maybe. I like going AF and UE because this helps me creep kill right off the bat (which is my primary goal right away, harassment comes later), and with those two skills and the right items I stand a good chance against some DGs s

Yeah, I'm an autoattack Reg player and I dont like these builds at all. The strength of an autoattack Reg comes from a combo of AF and EA IMO. These dont take EA until very late, which is a mistake in my mind. You should be pounding AF and EA hard. One point in Snipe at level 3. Sniper Scope I is decent, but not that early - its good for tower attacks of course, but its just not an effecient use of your time to be doing much with towers until you reach a mugh h
Dont give Snipe much priority. Give it one point at level 3 then leave it alone for a very long time. It doesnt help you level substantially. Go AF level 1, Stats level 2, Snipe level 3, then you should be hitting up AF and Stats at all possible opportunities except for perhaps a point in MoB and eventually Scope when you get to the point where you are messing with towers (which is fairly late actually). Remember that speed, AF, and Stats are the key to levelling, and
I've found that I can take most DGs out with an auto attack Regulus build on a 1v1 basis from the mid game onwards. There are some enemy DG builds which are an exception to this. But yes, the biggest strength of Reg isnt his 1v1 abilities, but rather his teamwork. If you can work properly with the rest of your teammates, you can do very bad things to the other team.
If it is so easy, why do you not do it and post it here for everyone to +karma you? How much coding in your life have you done?
It should be absolutely trivial to change the favor points required to buy favor items to 0 for every one of them. That makes them available to everybody. Or you can trivially remove them by setting their value to 1000000 favor points. There is no way that his suggestion should be a dif
There is a discussion of this build in: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/348817 Some pros/cons are outlined there, so if you want to know how to beat this type of build, thats a good place to start.
Krazikarl: Extracide directly brought up the amount of time horseradish had played, by accusing him of not playing enough. This is perhaps the only time it is 100% valid for horseradish to throw those stats in his face. In no way did he say he was better than everyone because of that.
Uh, thats not what I see. He (Extracide) said that Horseradish might have a little MORE experience than him, but argued that it wasnt relevant to the conversation.
Beast is nothing your 1500 damage you spit has cost you 25% movement speed and -800 damage from MoB now when 3 mines explode on you i do a lot more damage then you. Beast vs Regulus is a bad move Why do you think light side made the comeback on Dark side last time. This time dark will stomp this time cause they have learned the OP of lord Erebus
Come on now. You are suggesting a 4 attack chain that requires that you get the first shot in as a counter to a 1 shot
The problem is that in a small sided situation (1v1 or even 2v2) you cant just run every time you see him because then you spend all your time running and he spends all his time farming/flagging. The bottom line is that unless the UB is terrible, you arent going to be able to do anything in an early game situation other than run. I suppose you can keep running around hoping to eventually get to a high enough level to be able to do something, but you are starting off the game wit
In practice people dont do a pure attributes build like that. Most of the ones I've seen have Snipe in there (1 point early, more later). This addresses 2 of your cons. Other skills are basically sprinkled in. So yeah, a PURE attribute build is probably not very good, but you can go with a mostly attribute build and do well. Some of your objections are pretty silly. Yeah, a well coordinated team could stack armor. But if you have a team with any coo
I've seen lots of momentum changes. A DG suddenly buys a bunch of expensive equipment/artifacts that he has been saving up on. A team suddenly buying a ton of creep upgrades at once(they are usually bunched together now to avoid priest farming - so you see people go priests/angels/catapults at the same time which is a big effect). Heck, even builds coming into their own in the mid to late game (there are lots of DGs that famously start off slow but pick up). If your
What makes Enhanced Attributes so "huge"? I don't understand where that sentiment is coming from. My argument is that if programmers are going to program functions and create animations for four (and sometimes six) active abilities, there seems to be a focus there on the active abilities. Maybe every player won't choose to get all four in one game, and that's likely where the idea of Enhanced Attributes came in, but I doubt they intended for you to not want to take a
As everybody knows, Favor Points are completely messed up right now. Its not just the resets - I've had my points reset twice already today for no reason at all. The bottom line is that favor items are REALLY powerful. Its just not fun to play when you are the only one without favor items at all. This is especially true in 2v2 situations, which seems to be all that Skirmish will allow nowadays. When you are playing competant people with favor ite
The game certainly has its hang ups but I seriously doubt that the multiplayer is not available to a large portion of the people who bought the game. I had terrible problems at the beginning but I could still get a game then even if it took 3 hours. All my issues are pretty much resolved now.
Well, taking 3 hours to get a game going all the while working around random crashes and hangups is pretty close to "not available multiplayer". I think its
So you've found a way to make the game less complicated for yourself in order to have better situational awareness. You're trying to play chess with only knights, which -- were this chess -- you'd lose every time. A good game needs to be complicated, and reward its players for a greater breadth and depth of skills. What I mean to do is to point out when a game has imperfections. The player who can have both great situational awareness as well as mastery in timing and impl
Yeah, I have all these problems now. The game frequently insta crashed back to desktop when it tries to start a game. The game freezes and stops responding frequently when I hit the "Cancel" button on the "Trying to find a game" screen. Hell, it even started a game 2v1 once for me (no AIs, 2 players against 1 player in a Skirmish). I didnt have any of these problems before, and as a result its taking me even longer to get into games no
Was I the only one to lose all favor points/items with the patch? I didnt see that mentioned in the patch notes on these forums, but since they said that they were working on favor stuff maybe its not surprising.
Up until now I have been able to play multiplayer even if it took a while to connect. Now I cant really. I keep on getting NAT facilator complaints and a new message saying that I cant find game info. I've been trying to play for about 40 minutes now with no luck. I dont really have any specific symptoms for many games as it just hangs most of the time. So I guess I cant really add anything specific to help out the devs fix this, but I thought th
My personal feeling has always been to build a farm/levelling build early, then switch to kill DG mode after you pump out a few levels. You are going to be weak the first few levels as Regulus, so I dont even try and kill DGs then unless they are really really bad. But if I concentrate on being a few levels ahead, I hit the point pretty quickly where I have a slight lead in level and by then I'm at the point where Reg starts getting good. At that point, I can make up any gol
Yeah, my stats havent updated ever. I have maybe 15 pantheon games and my record is still at 0-0. I've been assuming that its not updating for anybody.
Does going heavy Snipe and Sniper Scope actually work that well for you early in the game? I find that Regulus is so famously weak early in the game that I dont Snipe especially until maybe level 5 or so. Its really only useful in my (limited) experience if my opponents are openly incompetent that early on (which to be honest might not be a had assumption right now since there are a lot of really bad players out there, but I dont like to rely on my opponent being horrible). <
