I think I got it *crosses fingers* Here is the software girl at 'The Future Shop' (affiliated with Best Buy) in good ol' Prince George, B.C. Canada. (No, I don't live in an Igloo...) It's not an Igloo it's a round log shack (tried to translate from "Cabane en bois rond."), at le

Alliance victory is probably turned off and probably not in a team too, i know where the break alliance botton is it's under the espionnage slider.
Search for the file, open the start menu then click search or something similar (I don't have windows english version) and write sig.bin and you'll probably find it.
And losing election give penalities too.
The artifact raise some of the stats by an x ammont per turn Ithink, I saw this event once and the AI was crushed by another before it could ave been dangerous.
It's a bug that happen sometime for some reasons the text in the xml file erase or an error so the text is not displayed.
Is it happening very oftenly?
Something like unique ship for every race would be great (only one can be build, and stats are not the same for each unique ships)
Great story after I read that the campaign have more sense now, please make novels.
Can you do a screenshot of the problem.
You can lose 100 bc or more in one turn for regular spending (not used to buy things) if you wanted to but that's pretty stupid.
About combat tactic why not just choose a tactic at the begin of a fight : Agressive : damage bonus, defense malus Neutral : no change Defensive : the opposite of agressive And yeah tactical combat can be very lame especially when there will be a lots of combats. I dont want to imagine the number of battles you would have to fight in a gigantic map I'm sure that even panzerboy will get bored and will not want to see another tactical combat.
Military starbases if you put them in a good spot can be used for attack in way, they gives bonuses to your ships and with all upgrades for other ships support, even a star fury is a lethal opponent.
Except if you putted your tax rate over 70 or 80 %
So why they need life support to travel longer distances. The Yor are machines but if you read their description you see they need to "eat".
Research weapons to counter the kind of protection their ships have. For example: If Shields then Mass Drivers or Missiles (missles are the least effective weapon from what I can tell, plus they take up TOO MUCH SPACE.) If Armor then Beams or Missiles. If ECM then Mass Drivers or Beams. <br
Disableing tech trade is >>>>>> optional!!!!! <<<<<<
It's a bug sometime the influence can cover an entire map it happened to me 2 or 3 times.
I have the patch on a gigantic map with the max of major something like 8 (defeated minors included) minors or more and I don't have explored all the map I think there was around 12 or more in total.
All ship components have the same attack, def or others it's just the size of the item who's different tiny hulls have the smallest parts and huge have the biggest.
And 15 parsec is enough in most cases because the computer dont do ships with engines.
You'll find out that some of the aliens are pretty hard to bet.
Why is everybody getting exited about the option to not trade tech? It seems to me that tradiing tech is a huge part of the game. Because, some persons are complaining about AI trading anything with anyone like a theory (weapon or armor) level research for a very good tech
Military points if not used are automaticaly sended back to treasury
Add something with spying to steal tech the more you invest the higher the chances to get a tech and add how much tech you can steal from that civilization so you won't waste money on a no tech avaible civi;ization.
