People to play with in Demigod Demigod Forums

Hi, I've just started playing demigod regularly again and I'm getting tired of playing alone. I think it would be more fun if I could play with people I could talk to and I wouldn't just be hoping on and finding random people, or just hoping on a vent that nobody has been in since the summer. So my idea, for anyone that is interested, is to get xfire and join a group I will create. Then when you see someone on you can just simply ask them if they'd like to play. Sometimes I have the same desktop problem and it will get me killed. But other times I play the game it limits my mouse movement so I don't have to worry about it...

I'm kinda tired with people saying stuff about the balance issues. I personally think it is balanced, but it also depends on how you play together with your teammates. Like my brother or me playing alone would get killed online, but playing together we can do pretty well and put up a fight.

So I need to forward ports 6112 to 6132 to connect to people online? My problem was that I'd see people but I couldn't connect to anyone, it would just say "Attempt to join failed" and I tried every single game. Ok so I will forward the ports, but what happens when my brother, who is on the same network, wants to play with me online?

I'd be gald to connect to a vent. I just have had problems with running a vent server off my computer. It was hard for me to actually get it so other people could connect to it. Then when I did I tried to change the codec to the best one but it sounded worse than TS so it was pointless.

Hamachi, LAN, and Teamspeak in Demigod Demigod Forums

Ya I can run a Teamspeak server off of my computer while I play games. I've had maybe 4 or 5 on there before and I didn't have any lag in any of my other games. So... I can't log onto my Impulse account on the game. Would this be the reason why? Just making sure because I stopped playing some amazing single play to find out. Whats amazing is how fun it is even though I am totally horrible at it... Most games can't do that and I'll give up at them within a few hours of doing poorly.

Nevermind thank you very much for telling me how to change it. I knew there had to be a way to do it because I've done it to COD4 before to and I had to change a notepad file. Thank you! Now i can finally get to playing and enjoying this game!

I broke it... in Demigod Demigod Forums

Ok.. So I got Demigod and was all excited. So I ran it and cranked up the resolution. But me being the stupid person I am made it 1600 x 1200 with 100 refresh rate. And that is out of my monitors range. So now my monitor won't display the game and I can't find a safe mode or anything to run it in. I even tryed re-installing and it still won't let me change the video options. Could someone please help? Thanks.
