I have exactly the same problem, running Vista X64 8 gb memory, 512mb gfx, blank screen crash with stuttering sound, hard reset only way to bring computer back to life. Seems to only happen when playing online. With a crash like this it is risking my harddrive becoming damaged; so until there is definite confirmation that this bug (huge bug) has been fixed, I am refusing to ever play this game again, which is disappointing. [/quote] See the link below, more people having the same problem, this cannot be a hardware issue, this has got to be a conflict between the new update and hardware or maybe OS drivers, appears to be vista.

I have the exact same issue. Posted the same problem earlier. Seems to start happening since the last update.

Running pentium quad core, 8gb mem, 512mb 9600 nforce, Win Vista Ultimate 64bit os. Only happens occasionally but completely crashed windows out and have to hard boot the machine. Running on latest drivers for graphics card. Any ideas what could be causing this? could it be the memory as when I had 4 gb in before it seemed more stable.

Same here, exact same problem, even got an xml error and it crashed out with connecting to pantheon.
