This DRM logically leads to hell. Imagine if every piece of software you had did this... what would happen when you upgrade your PC? - you phone EA tech support and explain everything, give your date of birth/codes/pc specs, convince them you aren't a pirate, maybe converse via email to get authorization? maybe have to transfer to other call centers for different games, or be told to phone a different number? or maybe that bit isn't working today, try again tomorrow?<br

From a UI perspective, the research interface could use some simple tweaks: a) Display the number of research centers (military/civilian) that you have somewhere on the screen. b) The research icon at the top of the main screen flashes/lights up if you're currently researching something... It's certainly the most annoying part of the game for me - if it was once an hour, or maybe 'you can buy an attack for X,000 credits', with 'X' doubling after each attack, that would seem far better. In my first game I was repeatedly attacked by pirates, I had no idea that you could bribe them (everything else is covered in the tutorial - attacking planets, building, research - but afaik the tutorials do not ever mention pirates...) Still a good game though :).

"Here is my question why did you not take the time to order it before the final rush, I did and got my serial the same day in fact me and my brother got our serial the same day AND downloaded the beta 4" Speaking personally, I'd heard about Sins before - and already had an account from, but saw a piece on a gaming site yesterday about it, which finally peaked my interest. So I came to the site, saw the pre-order was still available, fished out my details from a galciv2 that I

My previous experience was with EA games - you preorder, then can download ~90% of the game before it's released and then get the key + the final 10% the moment it's released. This worked out well for everyone - you could download ahead of time, so the servers didn't get trashed, and you got it 'asap'. Whereas with Sins, pre-order is worse than useless. As I pre-ordered last night, I'm guessing that the details won't come through until ~1am UK time??? If I hadn't pre-o
