My package was recieved today. I live in canada, and the delivery costed me about $6.85 canadian. Is it normal to get charged on delivery because I think I already paid for shipping and handling? I have yet to look at the contents of my box yet. I was thinking about letting it collect dust like my Sins box has, but after reading about bent Rook figures, I'm going to take a look at the very least. I'll be back after I look at the box, and review my e-mail reciept
We're putting up Beta 2C as we speak. Just 2 business days after beta 2B.
Hey wait, was that friday? I think I missed an update. Is there anyway to download a previous update? I don't want to think I missed out on anything.
Well we seem to have a winner for the day already. As such, it seems that all the doggies have disappeared so no one else can play. Since we have a winner already, care to tell us the details of where they were, answer to the clues, and any other details (or will that have to wait till friday after the last prize has been won?)?
So this is direction you guys are going. I thought you were going to take another direction. One that gave us the full warcraft experience to go with the diablo experience.
While I'm thinking about it, perhaps I should purpose a new type of demigod. Lets call them builders, crafters, or better yet, artificers. These "artificers" will support the war effort by building structures, crafting special equipment and making them available for use by creeps and other demigods, and making special stuff for themselve
To quote frogboy (aka Brad):
1) I don't want generals building barracks and such. Besides how hard that would be to balance, I don't think of generals as builders but rather people leading units in some way.
When I first heard of this game (before it was possible to preorder it), I got the impression that it was Warcraft meets Diablo. You would have the assasins who were players who specialized in kicking butt (Diablo), and the generals would be the players who
I don't like playing as the unlean one. It makes me feel dirty.[e digicons]x_x[/e] /joke There, I wanted to be the first to say that. Anyways, what are your opinions on the Unclean one? Me, I haven't had the time yet to give 'it' (can't tell what gender it is) a good test run. However, it feels like its placed inbetween the Rook and Torch Bearer in terms of abilities. Its clearly designed for melee combat, but it seems to have better AO
Maybe the current map is just very foggy. There is a waterfall after all... with plenty of moisture to make things real misty. Given that we can see whole maps without the fog in the preview video, this might be a feature currently locked with the current beta. However, if it were a lava stage (like the one shown in the intro) I would have a few things to say. P.S. If I recall correctly, one of Regulus's powers allows him to continue to see enemy demigo
Maybe the devs should rule that any creep that falls off the edge should die instantly (disintegration) to avoid further problems. Assign an area (or several) that should be considered out of bounds if an enemy were to enter. Ofcourse, they devs would have to make sure that the flyers did not kill themselves by flying out of bounds. For the current waterfalls stage, there only one level that all units have to worry about (assuming not all maps are going to be flat), so anyth
Looks like my post may need some clarification. About using powers at a lower level: You don't get a skill point refund for selecting a lower level. The basic idea was to use a lower setting to prevent you from over burning energy. Plus, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has every miss clicked something in a game and ended up doing something that would be a stupid move. This downgrade if you will was suggested as a means to negate that mistake. About the UI: I provided a sugge
After playing the beta many times I discovered, while I was playing as the Torch Bearer, that some abilities do increase in energy costs as they gain levels. After doing a quick glance at the rest of the demigods, I found that this holds true for most abilities. After doing some number crunching (to figure why I couldn't use some of my "Rain of Ice" as often as I used to), I learned that some abilities can increase in energy demands very quickly. This increase in energy
The Rook is a walking fortress with people in it. It would appear that the demigod itself may be stunned, the people inside it clearly are not. Besides, the game lists "several independant weapons" as one of the rooks strengths.
I was going to make a similiar post about the boots that would evade heals, but I see you already have done so.
Nice to know the check list. Sadly, it will be a few more years of university before I'm certain that I can make uber enough code to work with you guys. Maybe I'll talk to you guys in a few years time.
So everyone seems to know about as much as I do? I was hoping that one of the devs would reply here, and give some answers. So much for that plan. I guess I have to wait like everyone else then.
I considered asking on the first day, but I decided to wait a day to think about questions. Here are my pre-beta questions: Generals and Assassins. From my limited understand about what multiplayer is going to be like for this game, I take it that it would be possible to have a team that has a bunch of Assassins, and a few Generals. Is my understanding correct? If not, could someone clarify? Multiplayer. Will it be the same as it is for sins, or are
