Hi Baron yeah point taken on the stretched aspect and 16.9 16.10 aspects it is difficult, was just a thought as some peoples machines as you mentioned do seem to have probs but it is early days still and we are still in preview Thanx for reply, good work still at any resolution in my book. Just noticed you have some more dreams posted been a little busy lately but hope to get and download th
hey why not stick to default hd resolutions smaller sizes less cpu use and 1280x720 or 1920x1080 both scale well and look good at 1920x1200 and above. I have found from past experience the render time and file size that ie. 1600x1200 or 1920x1200 will not really give you any better results. I love the work you have been posting you should try as an experiment at the res MS and Stardock recommend 1280x720 I would be interested to see the size cpu use and quality. I have in the pa

Intel video editing but seems to run games and Vista64 well. 00Nuke Curious.. what is the model CPU you are using that is 3.7 GHZ? I didnt think intel had dual core chips above say a 2.7 (or 2.x)? Cheers Yeah its an overclocked E6600 core 2 duo
Izzat right? Then explain the worthiness of this. lol https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=390&libid=50 mmmm microbes Problem is why follow the dream submission guidelines posted on this site as regards resolution etc. when this gets
Hi will not recommend any particular make but you will need a HD camcorder/video camera which at minimum supports HD 720 or depending on budget one that supports 1080, Sony have just released a 1080i camcorder that is real cool and is aprox £1000. Again there are lots of progs to edit video and compress the final output some freeware but most of the better ones cost money, I use adobe premier along with several other progs to create my dream loops and have found from experience that mpg enc
I`ll show you mine if you show me yours lol not heard that since I was at school. 00NukE
I looked at this site some time ago but this taken from his site "NTSC 720 x 480 Resolution" DV res not even basic HD 1280x720 the min res given for dreams on this site (not that all dreams online meet this spec) but thats another matter I would have thought that for the prices he is asking for his clips he would have bought a HD camcorder by now and updated to HD rendering software <img src="http://ima

Hi I did not realise the other dreams stopped when on battery power so I can see now why you asked about it point taken on power use over txt vs graphic display DOh! should have realised, hope it gets sorted out for you as it is a pain to run out of battery power. 00NukE
Hi dont use a notebook but surely if you set the power saving up in vista then when on battery it would turn off the display and or put PC into standby or hibernate after a preset time. I would think this is the standard thing to do as you would not want the screen to turn off as soon as on battery power and not sure that running a dream uses much more power than just having the screen on or a standard screen saver. Just my thoughts. 00NukE
Hi no Canopus Procoder 2 is a software encoder. I use the (main concept)mpg2 profile but change a few settings based on past experience and to help playback and low cpu use when I export. Can see the differences you mention in your jpgs but not sure why and do not have xp here to try. Hope some of this helps. 00NukE
Hi links to mpeg versions of latest dreams for anyone that would like them Flow http://www.mediafire.com/?9zinta2njre Ducklings http://www.mediafire.com/?bz4ynm0mjno Artist http://www.mediafire.com/?d2hjti22jhi Red blooms http://www.mediafire.com/?0njwjmqlmln 00NukE
Hi the Canopus encoder works well, I mainly use the media export option in premiere without the problems you mention? 00NukE
I have encountered the same problems as you mention with certain dreams and after some investigating at my end it would seem that one problem is the codec for playback during a dream. The dreams I have downloaded that do not work and cause my explorer to crash and need restarting still get extracted and I can navigate to the dir and play the file back in media player with no problems, however it does need to fetch a codec via the net not sure if dreamscene or deskscapes are able to fetc

It seems that after I updated my dreamscene any dreams I make can only be used if you have version 1.01. I have 3 dreams just uploaded and approved Heron Ripples and Wild flowers, if you are unable to use these and would like them here are links to the mpg versions. Edit. new dreams mpg links added 00NukE additional download links as above fails for some

Please clarify the above, I have emailed you but as yet have had no reply. Quote from your post above "Content must be high-definition. That means the vertical resolution needs to be at least 720 pixels." high-definition 720p = 1280x720. DV resolution 720 = 720x480 NTSC or 720x576 PAL. are we to assume you made a mistake and did not mean high-definition but DV res ?? any comments to clear this up are welcome. Thabks 00NukE
