Ok Zen_God you might want to share that with me :D Thanks Pacov. To be honest I was a little disappointed yesterday as we planned for the tournament to last 3-4 hours. After 5 hours of mostly waiting it was 3am for purple (russian time) and 1am for me. Pacov wasnt available. The jeesports site didnt seem to work anymore as papa could somehow not report their win over us (fixed now). Was some confusion there. Deep respect for Papa and Rin to show u
and then you can demolish the pros can you pm me what kind of things?
Lets meet ingame or on vent. Its nothing too special anyways. More about stupid fights that end in a kill and even I could have seen that before or some strategic mistakes. Funny is that in the one papa/rin replay I watched they didnt really impress me but yesterday in tourney that was very different, as they played much
Dont have Uberfix 1.02. As for the replays, I fully agree with Zen_God here. There is a saying in german that experience is good but you can also do things wrong for 10 years. To know how to make it right, you need to watch those who are able to do it right and learn from them. In those replays I even see some things I better not copy :D
No hectic now. I signed us up.
Thanks for clarification. The team is already setup on jeelounge. My partner had other stuff to do today so didnt join so far and I thought I wait for him before we register.
I suppose it is that way. So no chance to watch those anymore? Although the two new replays you uploaded answered most of my questions. Still have not seen pacov or Kalel in action though.
Replay? You did prepare. Only watched the first and you lost. :P I have a detailed rule question for pacov: You say the first player can pick any DG and the second can pick any but UB/Oak/Erb. So could the first player on my team pick Sedna and then the second pick UB or is it really if we want to play UB then the first pick HAS to be the UB? Would not make sense in my eyes but if you read the rules one by one then this is what it says. To b
who? oO
I guess you have to play to find out. :D
Thanks Zen_God. I got a hold of some older replays from former tournaments. They quit after like 50 seconds with "Invalid Gamestate". Anyone any idea to fix that? Seems like someone practiced for tournament. :D
Thanks for considering but by now I found a new partner. See you all at the tournament.
Thanks a lot. We will sign up later on tonight. Another small question: Initially the rule was no doubles. From your last allowed combo rules you can read that there are for sure no UB/OAK/Erb doubles but can we play lets say with 2 Sednas?
Where are yours Orcun-? In the two Zen_God replays there is no Orcun, or do you have a different nick in Demigod? Oh and as for a comment. Enhanced UI would be awesome. I know I could switch around between the players but that makes the replay lag. Besides that I am too lazy to pause and switch around. Would be interesting to see when a player fake tps and when he actually goes in, for example.
Maybe you should change your playing time and play earlier with the europeans, as I dont know a single nick you just named. Not sure if they are any better in your eyes but at least you can try some new players. But back to topic. I had the exact opposite experience last night. We are 5 players, 3 mids and 2 noobs. We decide that the two most experience play with a nightmare ai against 1 mid and 2 noobs. Right at game start the mid on our team drops out so now it is 2 m
Wednesday is gone, has something been posted somewhere and I just dont know where to look?
OK, that sounds like a really bad game indeed. Still you can try to get something out of it. Try something funny, try to level up to 20 or something similar. Then note down the names of the players in your team on the "do not play in my team anymore" list. Even me as a new player here already has a list like that. Its still short though.
Thanks a lot. Was about to ask here on the forum if someone has replays of pro games to download somewhere. Watching this really helped a lot. Keep them coming.
Recently I see a connection between players with good win percentage, who usually also have a high disconnect to total games ratio (not all with high winning percentage but most) and a "I know everything about this game and you dont" attitude. I can totally understand your initial post E-R-E-B-U-S as some of that stuff also happened to me and I am not happy about it but your first answer to doggu is just sad. The only thing better than a won game is a game you win although you thought you hav
Dont think it makes sense to only allow certain combos. If you dont want to have another Sedna/UB tourney then either add Sedna to the list of Oak/Erb/UB that cant be combined OR if you want something really different then dont allow Oak/Erb/UB AT ALL plus no doubles. That would leave 21 possible combos for the other 7 DGs.
Care to elaborate why? I got to know SaV as a nice person who was very helpful. What makes him worse in your eyes than others that like to bash newbs or like to disconnect in 1v1 if they are losing? As I could name some of those.
