Yeah, i'm the one that posted the question in the Newsgroup. I have a lot of mp3s as well, but since I mostly listen to them at work and i'm not allowed to have them on my HD it's easier to use a CD.

It's just crazy. And I really feel bad for those who are just graduating. Whenever I hear someone saying they want to get into IT/programming I ask them if they enjoy it. Orion is right, the high salaries and such aren't going to happen. Personally, I happen to love what I do, however, I do have a family to support. For some reason I got lost during 1.Opening an image to cut parts from. What version are you using? After I finished choosing 'Empty skin' another window came up asking about a 'Personality name' Then when you're building the 'Taskbar background' you don't tell exactly how to add it. On my screen there are three sections. I have to click a '+' folder button then I choose 'Taskbar background' But then another i'm supposed to choose something else in a little window below it. <br

I don't think it's an error with either actually. In the description of most skins the author lets you know what resolution it will work with. What i'm hoping for is maybe some sort of feature that can sort of track where the objects are on a certain resolution and recalculate the positions of the objects according to another resolution. Doesn't sound too difficult but I've only done one or two dx themes (sorry i haven't uploaded any of them) so it may be more complicated that I know. I

Just a quick question: Will DX2 make it easier to switch between desktop resolutions? I'm not sure if this is even possible but it's kind of annoying to load up a new theme and everything's out of place. What's worse is when you have no idea where some of it should go. hmmm, maybe stardock will put up a "What's new" page for DX2 or something.

Well, they're not THAT different animals(both made by the same company). I have both and I know the differences, I'm just wondering why the site is different for these 2 products. Maybe their too busy working on DX2/3 or something who knows. I would get OD but quite frankly I won't use half the stuff in there. All I really want is some sort of an update. nothing special, just something that lets me know that they know DX (and it's fans) are still around.

Just curious which you folks like more DesktopX or Windowblinds? Anybody got a tentative release date for DX2? The website looks as if it had been abandoned or something as it doesn't match the rest of the stardock site. It's as if DX is the redheaded step-child or something.

I know that there isn't currently a tool that will skin this, but does anyone know if it's possible? Is is some sort of security risk or something? I'd REALLY like to see this done especially with all the great tweaks to WB4. Incidentally, anybody know what kind of changes are being planned for DesktopX v2?(been using 1.30 for some time now and NO I don't want Object Desktop.)

AWWW GEEZ, I know it's not a big deal, and I don't spend more than 2 seconds logging in but I'd REALLY like to skin my login. Since I joined the domain at work all I get is this boring blue background. Do you know if theres any plans to ever have this skinned? Ok, I finally bought WB4 and after reading the media guide I've got a few questions: 1. Stardock claims that you can skin ALL xp elements including the "please wait" dailogs and logon/logoff screens.
